This is a tranquil place to stay if you are looking for spot to relax! I would stay here again. If you are traveling with dogs, note that their rules do not allow the dog to be left unattended in the unit or to be on furniture/bed. They have doggy beds and water/food bowls for dogs if you need them. The units look exactly like the listing photos. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. If you are coming in on a Sunday plan to bring some groceries with you as there are not grocery stores or restaurants open nearby. I’d recommend going to Salto for a glass of wine and a stroll across the border to Portugal. This spot is also a great home base if you are looking to hike to the Dolmens or stargaze at the lookout for Berrocal de la Data. Thank you again for your hospitality. This was a wonderful stay.

It was a great stay. Everything was very good and suitable for all kinds of people. The truth is that we will definitely be back at your accommodation. We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

We loved our two-night stay here. The house is private and quiet. It had everything we needed for a short or longer stay. It felt stylish and comfortable with a private outside patio. The house was very clean and Gloria was proactive and responsive. We liked Badajoz - we were there for its historical interest and we found good bars and restaurants too.

To be honest, I was a tiny bit worried about renting this place at first, as I had read some previous comments about barking dogs in the area which made me think I would have problems getting proper sleep. Even thought I have perfect hearing, I did not hear a single bark during my 7 nights and I slept like a baby! The nature in the area is amazing and Olga's home could not be located in a better spot. The sunrises and sunsets are from another planet and the gentle sounds of goat bells, birds singing and the crickets at night just add to the pure magic. The pictures I took of the Milky Way I could probably only take in few other places. Magic! The house is big, clean and extremely confortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I am going to miss it! Olga is very friendly, polite and extremely informative in her responses. She answers quickly and to the point. I am sure I will be returning and can highly recommend this house to anybody who wants to disconnect completely.

OMG!!!!!!! This place was magical, I can see destination weddings, honeymoons, low key conventions, yoga retreats. I kept fantasizing about hitting the lottery and buying the place even though it was not for sale, it’s worth everything it would cost. From the small cottages to gorgeous dining banquets, pool areas, fountain areas, magical is the only word that describes it best.LOVED IT. Dining options exquisite. Suckling pig? Slap my mama good.
