Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Vals-les-Bains

The accommodation is lovely . The rooms are very large. The pool is very nice in case of high heat. The only downside for me is the inability to book other than Saturday to Saturday in August. Otherwise everything else was fine.

For a weekend for two with our dogs, a setting and superb calm. We did everything independently (arrival and departure), everything was clearly explained, no complaints we are already thinking about coming back

a beautiful cottage with a lush garden. Barbara greeted us with a smile and gave us a lot of information about the surroundings. Our dog was hosted very well and was able to play with their adorable border (very well trained).

We spent a week at Florian's place. We really appreciated Florian's warm welcome when we arrived and his recommendations on the places around Vals-les-Bains. The accommodation, located in a pedestrian alley in the heart of the historic district of Vals, enjoys great calm which is very pleasant. We felt like we were at home all week in this spacious and very welcoming place. Thanks for a great holiday week!

Absolutely perfect studio, fully equipped, everything in perfect condition, exactly as shown in the photos. I chose it because dogs are allowed, but my dog was more than accepted, he was cuddled and played with. Delphine was very nice to him. The garden is perfect for a dog as it is fenced. There is a small garden furniture and deckchairs. I was there for 3 weeks for a spa treatment. 15 minutes of slow walking to get to the Thermal Baths. A small supermarket and several restaurants on the street. A car is not required to fully enjoy your treatment. Delphine is a very good hostess, available and kind.

The apartment on the first floor of the building is a 5 min walk to the beautiful city park.

I highly recommend Pascale and her husband's place, a small haven of peace in Saint Julien en Saint Alban! They are charming people, and the accommodation is nice and typical, with a swimming pool and a pétanque court available! Perfect for a relaxing weekend. The accommodation is full of charm, functional, very clean, located in a hamlet in the heart of nature, composed of other guest houses, cottages and dwellings. In the summer, be prepared to face the mosquitoes and warmth! Luckily, the river accessible about 10 minutes by car is the best way to cool off. Patrice is clearly the one who will make your stay unique: full of excellent tips on sightseeing, swimming, markets, the most knowledgeable people in their field for all your sought-after purchases and services... He is a real connoisseur of the region in addition to being a responsive, friendly and caring person.

This location and property with extensive grounds is fantastic. The property is beautiful and well presented for guests. We loved running and walking in the local area as well as driving for days out to river beaches and local towns and markets. The on-site caretaker is efficient and attentive. We enjoyed conversing with him and having time with his dog. We had a fabulous stay, surrounded by great views and nature and it was lovely to have the town to walk to. We had a heatwave during our stay and it was difficult to reduce temperatures for sleeping in main house and the tower. Also worth noting that the bedrooms are in 3 separate buildings. We were aware of this and it worked well for our group. We would definitely consider booking this property in the future.

Beautiful house, modern, very well decorated, large rooms with good bedding, spacious bathrooms, perfectly equipped kitchen and lots of products at our disposal. Beautiful pool that we could not enjoy because of the rain but the jacuzzi was started and it was very nice. Michel was very responsive when we asked him for planchas. Our stay was very pleasant thanks to the kindness of Isabelle and Jean Marie who were very responsive (same-day booking), welcoming (detailed instructions for arrival and plenty of tips and recommendations for on-site activities) and very attentive to us. The cottage is surrounded by nature, very well-equipped and in a good location to discover the Ardèche (the Monts d'Ardèche park and the gorges) and our stay was very relaxing. Thanks again!

2 nights spent in the winter period, the air conditioners are heated so very convenient. Friendly and clear host welcome. A little noisy stairwell but nothing dramatic. I only used the bedroom on the left: Comfortable and quiet bedding for rest. I'd love to go back!

We had a very nice week in Salavas. The property was clean and according to the listing. Sheets and towels were provided, but we had to make the beds ourselves. The wifi is slow, but we didn't need much anyway, as we were on the road most of the time and explored the many beautiful places in the area. The kids enjoyed the pool and the animation (despite lack of French knowledge). We will be happy to come back.
