Marc picked me up at the harbor and brought me back there on the day of my departure, very nice! He also gave me helpful tips for my activities. You have a breathtaking view from the accommodation and can enjoy great sunsets. However, it is a little out of the way, so a car is recommended. You are really surrounded by nature. Otherwise, the accommodation was clean and had everything as stated in the description. I can recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to experience Raiatea a little off the beaten track and be more in nature.

Patrice and Sophie are lovely caring hosts. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived on the island thanks to a great welcome. The accommodation is immersed in an idyllic and authentic setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Recommended (and to be repeated!😁) without so much as a second thought! We spent all of February at Johnny's place. We met her mom Nunu, an amazing woman with a big heart. It's full of resources and energy. She told us her unusual history. Nunu is really a beautiful person, we attached to her. We've never gotten tired of the paradise setting we were in. There are no neighbours, only the owners. Every morning, breakfast facing the lagoon with sunrise. What an extraordinary show! The location is ideal for swimmers. The cabin is very rustic to Polynesian, very dated... But we don't come to Johnny's to seek the luxurious comforts of Bora's great hotels. Besides, the price is not the same... Again, the place is simply exceptional, natural. I would definitely recommend it. Thanks to Johnny, and especially big hugs to Nunu. The value is really unbeatable.
