We had a great beautiful week with our family of five in the spring break. The house breathes the atmosphere of old times and, if you like that, you can fully immerse yourself in it. We love it. South Limburg in spring, there is almost nothing more beautiful. From the house you can walk into nature or you can start right away on the route Margraten, which runs behind the house. Communication with Mischa was great. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend it!

Herman’s place was perfect and he was very accommodating. A very gracious host. We could not have asked for a better location, accommodations, or host. Very well appointed throughout. Everything we needed for our large group. Plan on staying here again and explore area even more!! Thanks Herman!!

We had a nice stay at this vacation home. The spacious living room, lovely large garden and jacuzzi were a luxury. However, it is good to know that there is a train track running right past the house, where trains regularly run along. We didn't find this disturbing.

The farmhouse

A classic house on a corner of a farmhouse from 1871. Not hip, but very hospitable, clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Moreover, you are right in the middle of farm life. The family runs a beautiful dairy farm, we had to (from our toddler...) say hello and goodbye to the cows, pigs and calves at least three times a day. That was allowed (as long as we didn't get in the way of the hard work in the yard) and we were followed every time by four sweet dogs. In the morning we got fresh milk and eggs - what more could you want? Close to Valkenburg and Klimmen, everything at hand.

Neatly maintained cottage with everything provided, and perfect communication with the host. Lovely bath for after a long walk. One detail to keep in mind for some: the bedroom is on the busier street side so sleeping with windows open for the lighter sleepers among us can be a challenge.

Spacious House w Parking Included

The apartment is very easily accessible. Everything is clean and equipped with the necessary equipment. Large kitchen and everything clean, plenty of plates and silverware. It is especially a very practical house. We were with a mixed group of friends, ladies and gentlemen. Then one toilet and one urinal and only a shower is a reason for waiting, which by the way has not been a big problem. Contact with Lity is very nice. Always responded positively, giving tips for things to do. And we were even allowed to leave the cars a little longer after we checked out! Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Valkenburg!

Of course a beautiful house to see. Nice and quick contact with the host also during the stay, which was especially nice. We did notice that some dishes were dirty which was in the cabinets and there was a lot of sand in the pool. There were instructions on how to clean but finally also os weekend. Of course, that was not to spoil the fun, we enjoyed the quiet environment all day and evening in the lovely garden. The house has all the comforts and is like a museum. I definitely recommend this house for a wonderful weekend!

Casa Sibbe with beautiful view

A lovely sunny house (180 m2) with beautiful panoramic view. Casa Sibbe is the ideal point for lovers of tranquility, walking and biking with the proximity of the city. Located on walking distance from Valkenburg and near the Burgundian Maastricht. The sunny house is comfortable and warmly decorated, fully equiped and has a lovely garden with a spacious terrace. The property offers privacy and tranquility and is a warm and cozy environment for a wonderful holiday or weekend away. 2 bikes and 2 mountain bikes are available for free. Sibbe is unique because of the many limestone buildings and the last remaining underground quarry for the extraction of limestone for construction. Shopping in Burgundian Maastricht or just enjoying one of it's great terraces, it's just a 15 minutes drive from Sibbe. Valkenburg is within walking distance which is perfect for a nice night out fun. Also a visit to Thermae 2000 (spa on the Cauberg) from Casa Sibbe is very easy to achieve. A day with the kids at Amusement Park De Valkenier or the indoor swimmingpool the Polfermolen. It is all nearby. 50 mt. of the house is the entrance to the marl caves (ASP), which via a spiral staircase descends to 50 mt. Tip: book in advance. Walkers can pick it up here. From the property one walks directly into nature. The house is also ideally located for a visit to Belgium or Germany. And for cyclists / bikers an ideal place at the top of the Daelhemerweg.and near the Cauberg. The layout of the house is as follows: Living room of 35 m2 with natural light and doors to the delightful garden. Fireplace with sofa and 4 easy chairs. Separate dining area with long table. Widescreen TV, CD player, DVD player, internet, WIFI. CDs, DVDs and books. Kitchen is fully equipped with all needed kitchen utensils, a large Smeg cooker (5 gas burners) with oven, a large Bosch fridge / freezer and a dishwasher. From the kitchen the garden is accesible and in the scullery you find a washing machine, dryer and microwave. The beautiful bathroom of 15 m2 is on 1st floor and has a lovely bath to relax, separate shower, large washbasin and a toilet. Downstairs there is a separate toilet. Bedroom 1 (25m2) is located on the 1st floor. Large bright bedroom with a large twin bed (180 cm-200 cm), flat screen TV with wooden floor, big wardrobe, a chest of drawers and windows looking out on the backyard with incredible panoramic views. The second bedroom with wooden floor has 2 single beds (90cm x 200 cm). The room is approximately 15 m2 with lots of light, large wardrobe and a nice desk with a printer. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are included in the price. 2 bikes and 2 mountain bikes are available for free. Free parking. There is an option for more people on request. We had a lovely weekend in Saskia's cool and spacious house. Highly recommended for groups. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of space. Saskia was very responsive and extremely friendly.

Unfortunately, upon arrival of the stay, there had been a power outage, so we could not use the jacuzzi. Nevertheless, we enjoyed this beautiful house and the beautiful location. Simone is very hospitable and kind. If we had a problem, she resolved it right away. All with, we've had a great week! For discovering South Limburg and its surroundings, this house is definitely recommended!

We had a very nice stay with 6 people. The villa was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The perfect base to explore South Limburg!
