We had a great time with the family at Adi's house. The house is very spacious, and the beds comfortable. An extra double bed, which was not on the listing, is in an open room upstairs, so we were able to sleep 5 people without a problem, without using the ground floor living room as a bedroom. Adi's parents, who live in the neighboring house, are very welcoming and speak French: what a nice surprise, even though we had tried to learn a few words in Romanian! This made the exchanges all the easier and more rewarding. The house is well located for visiting Maramureș (Săpânța, Sighetu Marmatiei, Bârsana, Breb, Borșa, etc.).

Great! Elena is Diana's mother. She's incredibly friendly and accommodating. She takes care of everything, had great tips for the area. The house is excellently located for excursions by bike, hiking boots or car. A huge site with fruit and nut trees. When we were there, everything started to bloom. A dream! The house itself is also huge and more like 2 houses. One part has a separate entrance, which can be very convenient for 2 families, for example. Elena also cooked us a traditional Romanian evening with her other daughter. That's what you should definitely do. There is a small market in the village on Saturdays. Unfortunately, there is no food there, but the whole place meets... a wild confusion. Elena also has a mini-market where you can get everything. There is a very large market with food in Bistrita. There, too, everyone is relaxed and friendly. Thanks again for the lovely stay

It was a great experience. The place looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean. The area is very quiet and with very beautiful scenery. The host was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. Thank you for everything and we will definitely come back if we have the chance again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The space was impeccably clean—spotless, in fact—and the attention to detail made it feel incredibly cozy and peaceful. The highlight of our stay was the chimney, which added such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It kept us perfectly warm, especially on the open second floor, where the heat naturally rose, making it a snug retreat. We enjoyed a quiet and serene evening, sipping on the wine thoughtfully provided by our host, sitting next to the fire, and listening to music for hours. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you, for creating such a magical experience. We can’t wait to come back!

An incredible place, with an incredible host. We were greeted with food platters and drinks on the house, and Ovi quickly accomodated requests for extra bed sheets. The location has an amazing view to the lake and the surroundings. The rooms are modern and beautiful and the kitchen is super well equipped. The jacuzzi works brilliant, and the fire place up the hill is an excellent way to end the days at the lake around the fire. Highly recommend this, will definitely try to come back!

During my recent visit to Borsa, I had the pleasure of staying at Cabana, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the picturesque mountains, Cabana offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, with cozy interiors that make you feel right at home. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. The views from Cabana are simply breathtaking. Each morning, I woke up to stunning panoramas of the surrounding mountains, and evenings were spent enjoying the serene landscape from the spacious terrace. It’s a nature lover’s paradise, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, wildlife spotting, and simply soaking in the beauty of the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive.

A piece of heaven! It also promises from airbnb but what I found here is way beyond expectations. In any detail you see the successful attempt of the hosts to integrate nature in daily comfort, the archaic in the new. It's the definition of simple, quiet life, with respect and care towards the environment. Cleanliness? Perfect! We will definitely come back!
