Stream Cottage in glorious Somerset countryside.

OliviaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I would just like to say how lovely this place is and how lovely the people are. We have two reactive collies and they were calm and happy here. The host put a lot in for us to feel comfortable so the dogs didnt get out or react to her dog. Overall what a lovely experience and a cottage that i wish i could own myself. Gorgeous walk and only 30 mins from the beach. i will be returning here again.

The Coach House at Tytanglwyst Farm

OliviaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay for a few days at the Coach House. The accessible features made it possible for us to take a relative we additional needs for a special break. Kids loved exploring the farm and seeing all the animals, and of course the hot tub. John and Liz were really responsive and helpful with any questions. May not be ideal if you are a light sleeper as it's on a working farm but it didn't bother us.

Special 23–27June Beautiful Dog Friendly Cottage

CatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely 3 night stay at Jane’s cottage. We are a family of 4 - 2 girls (9 and nearly 11) and we took our cockapoo. We had enough room, the cottage was really private which was ideal for our dog. He absolutely loved the massive garden and my girls loved meeting the horses at the end. We were visiting family and so it was a perfect location for us. Jane gave great instructions to find the cottage and was very responsive. The welcome basket was also much appreciated! Thank you!!
The entrance features a grey wooden door with circular windows, framed by hanging flower baskets on either side. A welcome mat is placed at the threshold, with vibrant potted plants arranged at the base, enhancing the inviting appearance of the entrance.

The Loft at Duffryn Mawr Cottages

JoanneRating, 5 stars10 months ago
My family and I have stayed in two of these pretty cottages. Each were beautifully decorated and well presented, spotlessly clean, gorgeous bathrooms with full baths, kitchens were very comprehensive and each cottage I stayed in, even had a washing machine. The beds were extremely comfortable and we’ve slept in 8 of them. Rosie was just lovely. Friendly, easy-going, and noting was too much trouble. Rosie responded to my messages quickly and comprehensively. -Even when I asked if they could spare a drop of milk for my cup of tea. Gardens were well kept and extremely pretty. Local pubs were all great. We enjoyed a gorgeous meal at one, which Rosie actually called up and booked for us. I highly recommend these beautiful cottages and this lovely host. 15mins away from Barry Island for entertainment, yet situated in the most beautiful and peaceful surrounding Wales has to offer.

Gorgeous Cartws close to centre

StephenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The space met my needs and expectations. I was in Cardiff for a college friend’s 70th birthday. I’d lived a couple of streets away so knew the area. The location is extremely quiet and the bed very comfortable (I know that’s subjective). Shops, cafes and restaurants in the area are all walkable. Pontcanna Fields is a great outdoor area. My only complaint is the 2Mbps internet connection.
The exterior of the cottage is adorned with a vibrant display of climbing roses and lush greenery. Sunlight streams over the stone pathway leading towards the inviting entrance, framed by flowering plants that create a serene and welcoming environment.

The lovely stay in the laundry cottage enhanced our holiday experience tremendously. The gardens are beautiful, the pool a joy to swim in and the surroundings peaceful and quaint. We walked to the nature preserve with amazing sand dunes and a big beach and Ogmore castle. Our hosts Lana and Rory were very responsive and accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back soon for more exploring.

Swallow Cottage at Moorshead Farm

MaggieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Swallow Cottage was really nice and cosy. Although its small, it was perfectly sized for the three of us and our five sausage dogs. The garden is good and the paddock behind the garden is perfect for the dogs to have a run around, although they did get freaked out by the robot grass cutter, which was very amusing! Cowbridge Town is lovely, lots of independent shops and a great vegan cafe. There are a few ParkRuns in the area, we had already done Barry Island ParkRun on a previous visit, so we did Porthcawl ParkRun. The course is along the promenade, which is really nice and the people were so friendly. We also went to PorthKerry Country Park - it is stunning. Waking up in the morning to the sound of birds singing and the views from the bedroom window were fantastic. We only had a 3-night stay, and wanted more. If you want a peaceful retreat, Swallow Cottage is perfect. Will definitely be coming back there!

Warbler Cottage at Moorshead Farm

CamillaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely spot for exploring South Wales. It was easy to find and easy to park. The paddock across the yard was a lovely bonus for our two dogs. At night it was both very dark and very quiet so we slept really well here. We used the wood burner on our first night here. It was already loaded up for a fire and quickly warmed up the cottage on a cloudy and windy evening.
