Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Valado dos Frades

We stayed at Leonor's litte house for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is situated beautifully in nature and is a great place to explore the area from. The house is small but has what you need with 2 person's. We also enjoyed the frequent visit of Leonor's father's dogs! Perfect place to relax!

Beautiful clean house and pool, comfy beds and really spacious house. We were greeted by Pereira’s father who gave us a tour and was very friendly and helpful - we enjoyed the wine he gifed us too! Would recommend a car to stay here.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Maria’s apartment was charming and well-equipped and beautifully situated in the center of town—but slightly removed from the noise and hustle. She was a very gracious host and we were very glad we stayed there.

The space and accommodation exceeded expectations, from the outdoor space with a super unobstructed view to the interior. Mr. Francisco was super attentive to us and flexible with our requests, we will certainly return. Thank you.

Accommodation true to description, all new and very clean. It has a patio with barbecue that the weather did not allow us to enjoy. The host was very friendly with several welcome details. If we came back to the area, we would definitely repeat.

Very nice place, quiet area. Very comfortable house, spacious with beautiful decoration. Takeaway a one minute walk away. Close to shops and beach. I enjoyed the mix of traditions, authenticity, and modernity. Excellent typical and inexpensive restaurants to discover. I recommend this house.

Rafael, was the perfect host and gentleman. The location is unbeatable and his dining recommendations were spot on. We really appreciated the little personal touches (fruit, bread, cheese, ham, croissants ++). The pick up and drop off service were a surprise and greatly appreciated. Great location, with beautiful sea views and walking distance to the lagoon and the beach with the restaurants, great. The cottage is also well located for trips to Óbidos, Nazaré, and also Lisbon. Communication with Bruno was easy.

We had a lovely stay at Åse’s place. Åse and her husband were very friendly and generously provided us with fresh eggs and oranges from their farm. They also shared helpful recommendations for places to visit in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Teresa and Miguel's house. The house is super-equipped, it was very clean and has a great location. Teresa and Miguel are very friendly and helpful. We hope to be back!

everything impeccable, good communication, clean space, everything great. but 80 euros cleaning fee for 2 days is simply inappropriate and had never happened to me.

We visited Nazare during Christmas holiday and was very satisfied with the location and hospitality from Carlos and his assistant. The apartment is in the quieter place of the town and easily accessible to get into the busy area. It’s very clean and has all the necessary amenities. The heaters and WiFi worked very well and made us comfortable when we stayed inside. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

We highly recommend Lina's apartment. Everything is there for a great stay. The accommodation is very well equipped, decorated and extremely clean. The beds are comfortable and there is a beautiful sea view. Lina takes good care of hosting us (in French for us) by giving us all the information about her accommodation and Nazaré. We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

We were very satisfied, especially the great garden and billiards room were great. The house is in a very quiet area, you could listen to the birds chirping. Overall a very spacious place to stay, we were satisfied.

We had the great pleasure of spending six wonderful days in Jorge's fantastic villa near Nazaré – and can recommend the accommodation without reservation! Jorge was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host who made us feel welcome from the first moment. He was always available if questions arose and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The villa itself is beautifully located, quiet and offers a magnificent view. It is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the fantastic pool, which provided refreshment and fun for young and old every day. We also greatly appreciated the leisure opportunities on the property – the foosball table and the pool table, although a bit outdated, were a great change and not only gave the children a lot of fun. Thank you Jorge!

This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at this lovely quirky characterful villa. The welcome was fantastic with a table laid out with delicious foods by Adelia. The outside terraces around the pool are beautiful with stunning views and sunsets. We also made good use of the barbecue. We were there with 6 adults and 2 babies. There is literally nothing missing in the house, everything is catered for, even 2 highchairs! When we had an issue with the lack of hot water, our hosts responded promptly and things were resolved. We can highly recommend this lovely house. The local restaurant is also worth a visit where Susanna will cook up a storm.
