What an incredible stay! Elin and her husband Hans were absolutely amazing. This was our first time in Lofoten and Hans helped us find everything in the house, made sure we were safe, and even helped us to filet a fish we bought from a local fisherman! One evening after a long hike, we came back to a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Elin that were some of the best I've had. Super clean, cozy and affordable house and the hosts' hospitality is incredible! Staying in Hans and Elin's place made this trip unforgettable.

We adored Calum's house. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. Calum provides everything you need and more for a stay in Lofoten. The house is well made, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Hands down, our favorite aspect of the house was the hammock for lounging! The beds are very comfortable and we got great sleep. We also loved watching the birds at the feeders out of the kitchen window. The neighborhood was quiet and we took nice walks around and out to the jetty by the Norwegian Sea. Additionally we took a snowshoe with Paul from Polar Folk, a friend of Calum's, and we had an incredible time with our 8 year old. Thanks again for an unforgettable stay at your home. As our daughter said, it was worth taking three planes to get there!

Dear Kenneth, thank you again for hosting us. We enjoyed our stay at Kenneth s house. We (6 people) spent there 9 nights, exploring Lofoten by car and ski mountaineering. Conditions are changing fast. The house is lovely, has a nice view and not far from Svolvaer by car. Kitchen is well equiped, nice living rooms and space for dining. A dream place to live forever

We can 100% recommend this! The house is very cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. The view from the windows is super pretty and we managed to see northern lights few times just above the house. The location is good for day trips around Lofoten. Thank you 😊

Really nice place. The apartment is actually nicer than what the pictures show. We slept there for one night - and everything was just as it should be.

If you’re thinking of getting aurora tours, just get Rita’s guesthouse instead. It was super clean and cozy, and we saw the aurora for both nights!! Definitely will stay again if we ever visit Gimsøysand!

Lovely place, feels very spacious and homey, has everything you need to be cozy and to make home cooked meals. Would recommend!

We felt right at home. The apartment was comfortably furnished and was invitingly warm when we arrived. The location is very quiet, right nearby there is a supermarket that has a lot of choice. Since we were traveling by car anyway, it was the perfect location for us. Everything you need was available. The kitchen was very well equipped for everyday needs.

Natalia was such a lovely host. She helped us with local jnfo before checkin, was there to greet us and show us around (which we would not have needed had she not been home, but helpful nonetheless), and had some basic foods in stock for our use.

Martin's place is one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. It is spacious, tastefully furnished, comfortable and clean. Big windows open to breathtaking view of lake and mountains. When the night is clear with full moon and northern light, as we were fortunate to experience, it is an unforgettable sight. Location is convenient to visit all of Lofoten islands. Martin was responsive and courteous. We hope to come back some day!

Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigruten ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant in northern Norway about 20 minutes' walk.

We stayed for five beautiful days in this rorbu. Spacious, clean, tidy, with beautiful views from both the living room and the bedrooms. Lovely. The location is very quiet and convenient for both the airport and visiting all the islands. Anita was always very kind and helpful.

I stayed in several places during my trip across Norway, but this Airbnb in Svolvær was by far the best experience I had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. The cabin is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-equipped, every single thing you might need is already there, thoughtfully prepared with care and attention. It felt instantly safe, warm, and homey, which is rare to find. What made this stay truly unforgettable was our host. He was so present, kind, and generous, sharing local tips, stories, and our passion for photography. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, observe splendid auroras from the backyard and feel truly welcomed, this is the one. The apartment is very nice, the things in the apartment are neat and clean, and there are many kinds of things, which makes us feel very cozy. The owner was very attentive and responded to our messages promptly to help us find the apartment. The experience was really good. Highly recommended!

The furnishing and amenities made the accomodation really comfortable. Really convenient as there is parking available at the accomodations. Host was responsive to our questions. Highly recommended for anyone vusing Henningsvær!!
