Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vága Municipality

Once in a lifetime experience! This lovely house in Kvivik was otherwordly. Built in 1864, it has so much original features - but has all the modernities you need (nice shower, hob/oven, dishwasher). The neighborhood is very quiet with very little tourists, and I loved waking up to the sound of stream flowing right infront of the house. There is no cafes in town, but a super lovely knit shop called KvivikKnit around the corner that I visited 3 times! The ceiling can be slightly low if you are over 180cm tall, but the house is charming enough to compensate for it in my humble POV. Would love to stay here again - thank you for being on airbnb!!! ♥️

I stayed in Finnbjørn's house for 6 nights and was feeling like at home right the moment I entered the house. Since it was my first time visiting the Faroe Islands, the house was a perfect spot to relax between my packed days of exploring most spots of the Faroe Islands. The surrounding area is perfect for walks, (trail-) runs, hikes, swims (if you're brave enough) or simply sitting at the banks of the fjord to take in the scenery. The house features everything you need: a very spacious and well equipped kitchen, cozy couches, comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom with a great view out to the nearby fjord. There's a small supermarket and a café right around the corner which is perfect for stocking up on supplies or simply relaxing for a bit. The communication with Finnbjørn was perfect. I sometimes even felt sorry that he replied so quickly and I forgot to write him back because I was so absorbed by the magnificent nature. I will definitely try to stay at this place again!

Die Wohnung hat eine gute und ruhige Lage mit einer schönen Aussicht die wir jeden Tag sehr genossen haben. Zudem hat man direkt an der Wohnung einen Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Maud ist eine sehr freundliche und Hilfsbereite Gastgeberin mit sehr guten Hinweisen. Wir haben uns Wohl und Willkommen gefühlt.

Le logement correspondait aux photos, possibilité d'aménager le couchage selon nos besoins. Annika est communicante et apporte des informations utiles. L'emplacement est incroyable et paisible avec une perspective sur l'océan, la maison est calée sur le flanc de la colline verdoyante. Nous avons eu la joie et le plaisir, en toute liberté, de nous promener sur les collines, observer les moutons, admirer la vue, découvrir les cascades et respirer l'air pur !!

We loved our stay at Elinborg's apartment. It is very spacious and much bigger than it seems on the pictures. The kitchen is fully equipped and we felt like home. The location is very good as well! There are two supermarkets in walking distance 5-10min and also a bus stop for the 300 line to the airport. You can go on very nice walks and hikes in the area. We loved it :) Communication went very well and fast and Elinborg's husband even offered to drive us to the airport. We can definitely recommend the apartment!

Très bon moment passé dans ce logement, Rani a été très accueillant en nous proposant son aide dès qu'il le pouvait avec pleins de petites attentions. Il nous a même livré de la nourriture local pour que nous puissions goûter ! Je recommande à 100% !!

Excellent séjour, rien à ajouter. La vue à partir de la maison est exceptionnelle. La salle de bain est à améliorer comme cela est déjà signalé par les autres commentaires.

We had such a wonderful stay! The location is wonderful for exploring Vagar and right near the local football pitch and beach. The house is very comfortable and makes you feel at home.

Fint og hyggeligt bådhus i særdeles fredeligt område. Perfekt til afslapning, hygge og overnatning. Gode muligheder til gåture langs stranden og rundt i Vestmanna. Pænt og rent at komme til og alle faceliteter i top. Vi var meget fornøjet med vores ophold og fik alt det som var fereskrevet. Vi kan kraftigt anbefale Simons bolig til andre. Jona og Andras.
