First trip to Faroe Islands - wonderful welcome from our hosts with plenty of local tips. Great place to stay from which to travel all over the islands. Hot tub well used by us.

This was the most I paid for a stay during my travel through Faroe Islands but we would not have missed it. The beauty of the location in general but especially at 4am with nobody else around is something we will remember for a long time. To stay in such an authentic turf house with so many nice touches to make it comfortable was a lovely opportunity. Every detail was covered…the mini bar was a nice surprise!! Thank you

Lovely cabin and really nice views of the fjord. Kitchen was well-equipped. Toilet/shower a bit older than the rest of the cabin but worked well.

This little cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in the Faroe Islands. We sat and had coffee in the sunroom every morning and watched the waves. The hot tub was amazing, even with the drizzly weather. Leynar was a a calm and peaceful home base for our trip and it was easy to hop back on the highway and go wherever we needed. Everything in the house was as described and the kitchen was very useful! The beds were pretty comfy too!

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. The place was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we would have wanted.

We loved our stay. The house is really cosy and nicely decorated. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the inclosed area outside is good for smaller children to play in.

We had some lovely days in Torshavn at this home. It is very central and with a short walk to the city center and good bus connections. There are great views from the apartment beyond Tinganes and the sea, but without being clumsy of the industrial port. A really good place to stay in Torshavn.

It's a really nice house near the harbour. Rustic in the good way. No fancy stuff. But everything you need to cook, relax and slow your life rythm. I felt quickly like at home. It's quite far from the "main" island (the one with torshavn). You will need to take a 2 hours ferry and then drive 10 minutes to get there. But Suduroy really deserve a few days. Nice hikes and beautiful sceneries.

We greatly enjoyed our week's stay in this delightful farm cottage. After each full day's outings, it was wonderful to return to this warm, cozy cottage with its lovely views over the hills. It is described accurately on the website, is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Its location makes it easy to go anywhere on the islands. Tórður was a most helpful host. We would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Family of 4, with dog, stayed 4 nights in the house. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the experience of the authentic older Faroese atmosphere the house has. The house has everything you need and the host responded quickly when we contacted them. We would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely house.

The apartment was wonderful and in a great location, just steps away from some great restaurants and the waterfront. Parking can be tricky, but there’s a street parking in the area. The apartment was a little bit tricky to find. The instructions were great, but it’s just a busy area. This was a great location for a short stay, including tours and some great meals.

Three of us greatly enjoyed our stay in Hoyvík. The apartment was perfect and made a great base for exploring the Islands. If you want to visit Torshavn I would consider the bus as parking can be problematic during the day. However parking at the apartment was straightforward. The local eateries are also recommended.

This home probably has the best views in the Faroe Islands - just steps from the water with unobstructed views in every direction. The home is not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and the location made up for the less-than-fancy bathroom. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The walk up the hill was a great way to get in a couple minutes of cardio each day. :)

Sunneva’s place is perfect for our 6 days stay, it is easy to get around to all area within one hour time. The place is super clean and offers everything we needed. Sunneva herself is a gem! She was very kind to offer us her home made pastry and jam, Sunneva is a very pleasant host to talk to, her home is full of good memories. We had absolutely enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend to anyone who visits Faroe Islands.

A lovely place out of the way. Only 10 minutes from a grocery store and convenience store, but a quiet and peaceful place. We saw very few people near the home.
