Vacation rentals in Vaals

A very unique place that made us feel the tranquility and freshness of the Dutch countryside!The host is very friendly, and the neighbor's horses are also nice to look at!

It was a lovely and cozy house in a beautiful place, from where you have beautiful views. The house is very nicely decorated, matching the atmosphere of a half-timbered house. The pot stove worked great and the dogs were wonderful to recover in the evening from the long walks. Since it was the pre season, we were able to enjoy the area in peace. Mati is a pleasant host and everything went very smoothly. We'd love to come back.

We had a great stay! The place was perfect and everything was really clear and perfectly organised. The sauna was amazing after a long walk in the beautiful surroundings. The appartment is easily accessible by public transport which is an added bonus for us.

After a two hour drive we arrived in the beautiful surroundings of Vijlen. It was like we were driving in a foreign country. We drove through idyllic roads to Hoeve Villare. It was already fantastic at the first sight. We parked the car in the spacious parking lot behind the farm. We were already able to take a look at the amazing view from the garden. We were immediately and very kindly welcomed by Bert and Wilma. The house served our wishes. Our kids would be with us for Christmas and there was all the space for that. Ideal that there are two bathrooms and toilets in accommodation "The vineyard". Also, upon entering, there was already a nicely decorated Christmas tree burning, which made it double fun to start. The courtyard was lit at night by a Christmas tree, in short, very cozy. We explored the area well from this fairytale place. In addition, we all slept very deep and well, the beds are very good (especially for tall people).

We had a very pleasant stay at Maison Marguerite. In the cottage, everything has been thought of and equipped with every comfort. The kitchen is spacious, from where you have a wide view over the fennet in front of the cottage and the further area with hills. On the private terrace you can sit, have breakfast in the sun in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon on the comfortable sunbeds. Even in the evening it is good to stay on the terrace, after a barbecue you can still dine for a long time, when it gets dark there is cozy outdoor lighting. The cottage has good accessibility by both car and bike to surrounding villages and cities, such as Vaals, Gulpen, Valkenburg, Maastricht, Aachen and Liège. The only downside in the cottage we found was the internet, the WiFi was slow and regularly fell away. Furthermore, we lacked nothing and this cottage is highly recommended !

The stay was partly vacation, partly due to family reasons. The place feels like a little oasis of peace. You live right on the center of the city of Aachen, but have a place in the middle of the countryside. It is pleasantly quiet after you enter the house. The village of Vaals is a beautiful small village, which you also like to explore on foot. The warm atmosphere due to the wooden beams in the stone network of the guest house is not seen in the photos, also not the matching furnishings. Most importantly, however, is the pleasant friendly contact with the family. You can quickly ask a question about any issues and get an answer. But also just enjoy your peace in the garden if you are exhausted after experiences of local attractions. My children traveling with them wanted to continue their vacation.

We felt very comfortable. The house is beautiful and well decorated so you can have a great time there. The equipment is great, nothing is missing! Great location and nice area as you are also quickly in Maastricht and Aachen.

The weather was not fantastic but still wonderfully hiked in the area. Just right from the cottage. Lovely cottage, the kitchen was so well furnished that we were able to make a Christmas dinner there. The beds were a bit hard but that is of course very personal. Al all recommended!!
