Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Uvita Beach

I spent two most relaxing days in the loft. Perfect place for those who like being in the middle of nature. The cabin is an open structure with nets instead of windows. It is very well equipped, including a complete kitchen and an outdoor shower. For those who are addicted to A/C, there is none due to the open character of the loft, but 3 fans are more than enough to cool you down. Pablo, who takes care of the property, was most welcoming and nice, leading the way to the cabin and giving some good advice for things to do in the area. I would recommend going there at least in an SUV as the last 5 minutes of driving involve some steep and bumpy bits. My personal highlight was seeing a group of spider monkeys passing by directly in front of the terrace while having my morning coffee! I can only highly recommend this place!

This place was great. It was very well kept and spacious for us. We enjoyed the evenings outside by the pool. I it was very private and quiet. We loved the landscape.

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

Stuart’s place was an ideal location for a private and peaceful getaway. The property itself had great amenities - especially the pool and the surrounding landscape. It was centrally located to bars, restaurants and beaches in Uvita and two neighboring towns - but far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle. Stuart was a great host. His place definitely made our vacation!

I only stayed one night this time but could have spent many more nights here. A very nice place close to everything! This place is inpecably clean and fresh- the apartment as well as area. Comfy beds! The staff was highly communicative before arrival and very welcoming. I appreciated being able to keep my luggage stored after check out. Again: highly service minded staff. Lovely! Beautiful house with great pool and ocean views in a convenient location to Dominicalito beach (which had smaller waves and was perfect for kids). The towns of Uvita and Dominical are also close and easy to go there for dinner and groceries. The views were gorgeous and the house is wonderfully designed for a family. The traditional Costa Rican breakfasts that Yigzy prepared, along with lots of fresh fruit, were wonderful. Cheyenne was super responsive and helpful and we did many of the activities she recommended (river rafting, canyoning/rappelling, boating, etc) and they were all great excursions. In general, it was great to have her help for making car arrangements to San Jose airport, restaurant recommendations, etc. She and her husband live on the property, also the caretaker, Kiko, but it is 5 acres with dense vegetation and and the house is very private. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again!

The hostess is very friendly and communicative. A beautiful place, a great view of the sea, very tidy, clean, very quiet, beautiful nature.

Considering the lot of the property there was a lot of space interior and exterior. 3 of us stayed here and enjoyed the pool, tanning deck, and Ac in the bedrooms. We were able to walk to restaurants and the beach less than 5 minutes away but when inside the property the gate provides a lot of privacy and the neighbors are quiet.

We’ve lived in Costa Rica and been to almost every corner of the country. Natalia’s property and guest house is one of a kind and incredibly special. Only thing to be aware of is that there is only A/C in the master bedroom and it gets quite humid (expected). Wonderful place to stay and be truly immersed in the south coast.

This was our second time staying here. It was very comfortable and the hosts always friendly and proactive. Great space very safe for us and our dogs. Very close to Marino Bahia Ballena.

The place was amazing, walking distance to everything we needed for a weekend scuba diving in Isla del Caño. Christoph was super responsive and attentive to whatever we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the Castro cabana was amazing!!! The compound was extremely private and we really enjoyed the common areas, like the pool and outdoor kitchen. The cabin had a really good kitchen so we were able to cook most of our meals there, but when we didn’t want to cook, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The beach was also so so close so we were able to really enjoy the ocean every day. When we arrived, there was no hot water, and when I let the host know, they had it fixed extremely quickly! We really appreciated that. Our group had a really good time and would love to come back!!!

We stayed one night, it was nice, easy to access and affordable

Beautiful simple accommodation, just as pictured. Fully equipped, the host has already sent the key code in advance, including video for orientation. No problems, we are more than satisfied.

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

Martina and the place were absolutely spectacular. Upon arrival, you are taken away to another place with the lush jungle, amazing landscaping, and beautiful views overlooking the Uvita Whale’s Tail below. The property and house are perfect and the location is great as well as you are a less than 10 minute from the town of Uvita with lots of great restaurants & amenities. Can’t wait to come back at is it absolute paradise!
