Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Unsere vielen Gepäckstücke wurden die Treppen bis in die Unterkunft mit phänomänalem Ausblick getragen. Das Essen wurde für uns wunschgemäß zubreitet und wir haben beim Essen die tolle Aussicht genossen!

Deutsche passt auf, hier seit ihr in einer tollen Unterkunft gegenüber eines tollen Berges. Da sollte man auch raufgehen. Bitte 2 Klasse mit dem Zug anreisen. Die Fahrt hat was das man nicht kaufen kann. Von Kaffeeplantagen und Natur pur. Viel Spaß in Ella in Scrilanka .

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Pokój taki jak na zdjęciach, przed pokojem hamaki i leżaki, można się zrelaksować patrząc na piękne góry. Ishari i Jej syn Vaneesaha są przemili, chętnie podpowiadają co ciekawego zobaczyć. Vaneesaha odebrał Nas z dworca, na następny dzień zorganizował wspaniałą wycieczkę po Ella, dzień później zawiózł Nas do Udawalawe na Safari, które również dla Nas zorganizował. Pyszne śniadania, świetna komunikacja i najlepszy gość z recepcji-piesek Bruno ❤️

Pradeepsetiyanake und seine Frau sind äußerst freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber gewesen.. Wir haben uns dort sofort wohlgefühlt, wozu nicht zuletzt besonders die warmherzige Art der Gastgeber beigetragen hat. Die Zimmer sind zwar einfach gestaltet, bieten aber alles, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt. Vor dem Zimmer kann man überdacht sitzen und die Natur genießen. Der Garten und der überdachte Speise-/Aufenthaltsraum sind mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Hinzu gab’s noch viele Tipps, was wir in der Umgegend unternehmen können (z.B. Wanderungen in der Knuckles Range, Besuch des fantastischen Rathna-Ella Wasserfalles, Raja Maha Viharaya (großer und wichtiger Buddhistischer Tempel)). Eine stimmungsvolle 2-stündige Bootstour auf dem Sorabora-See zum Sonnenaufgang mit beeindruckender Vogelvielfalt hat uns Pradeepsetiyanake ebenfalls für einen sehr günstigen Preis vermittelt. Tja, und dann das Essen: superlecker und preiswert - wir waren immer kurz vorm platzen!

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay here. The breakfast (included) was delicious and filling. The view is beautiful, the bed super comfy and cosy, the room was lovely and cool and the surroundings/area was so peaceful and beautiful. We ended up extending our stay! Super walkable into the town too, with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Lovely hosts & beautiful place, can’t recommend enough, would definitely book again.

Even though Theja was not there, she paid long distance charges to talk to us from England, and make sure we were well taken care of. We would recommend this place for everyone. We have two small children and they were well entertained on the beautiful back deck that Theja has. Great recommendations for safari and the town.

We had a wonderful few days at Hill Safari, the staff took excellent care of us, very attentive and respectful. We enjoyed the fantastic views whilst sipping tea after enjoyable walks. The meals are freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff assisted us plan activities, informing us of local walks, including Pekoe Trails 11 and 12, which can be accessed from Hill Safari. Horton Plains is a short tuk tuk ride away. Hill Safari is quite remote, everything you need is provided, so if you want a peaceful place to spend time in nature, this is an ideal place for you.

Super Unterkunft! Tolle Lage, etwas versteckt aber gut zu erreichen. Der Ausblick war atemberaubend schön & das Frühstück super lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch der Service war top. Einziger Kritikpunkt: das Bett war sehr hart und im Badezimmer gab es keine Duschabgrenzung. Fazit: Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft definitiv weiter & würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Each room provided two bottle of water, he also arrange tea or coffee for us. Janaka is really helpful person, I tried to ask him to give some suggestions to us in our last day in Colombo, he answer quickly and provide good suggestions!! Really helpful house owner!!!

The best thing about the apartment was definitely the balcony and the amazing view — absolutely beautiful! The room was clean and comfortable, and communication with the staff was great. They were really friendly and very attentive and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. The location is up the mountain, but it’s only about a 10-minute walk or you can easily take a tuk-tuk. It’s also super close to the town center, so everything is within reach. Definitely a great stay!

Eomal e sua moglie, incluso tutto lo staff, ci hanno trattati quasi come dei figli, sono stati dolcissimi e ci hanno trasmesso il loro amore per quello che fanno, dal trattamento del cliente alla passione del luogo in cui vivono, in una vallata stupenda nei pressi di Ohiya. Colazione e cena ottime, servizio impeccabile, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Essendo stato il mio compleanno, mi ha organizzato insieme alla mia fidanzata una sorpresa inaspettata coinvolgendo gli altri ospiti, è stato davvero gradito. Escursioni stupende da fare in zona, dal Pekoe Trail agli Horton Plains, per gli amanti del trekking un vero paradiso. Grazie ancora davvero per lo splendido soggiorno ❤️🙏🏻

Totally recommend coming here! The family were so kind and helpful. The home cooked food was some of the best of our whole trip! They helped us to organise tours to Horton plains, Lipton seat and diyaluma waterfall. They also picked us up and dropped us at the train station which was really kind. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

Prachtige locatie en zeer gastvrije host. Absoluut een aanrader!
