Great place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. Close to the Gregory lake with amazing views. Harendra was very nice and attentive. We had problems with our cab and he offered to arrange a new cab for us and let us stay a bit longer in the property. We highly recommend you to stay here!

We travelled with our 3 year old daughter and had an exceptionally nice stay! We recommend it 100%. Stunning views, peaceful surroundings. Fantastic breakfasts served on the beautiful terrace. It’s even better than the pictures! The host family was extremely kind and helpful at all times. The house is located at walking distance to 9 Arch Bridge and about 15 min by tuk tuk/car from central Ella. It’s super easy to find transport and to get around. We will for sure cone back and enjoy this house and Ella! Thank you so much.

Incredibly kind host family. They were always helpful, gave us a ride into town and organized a scooter for us. We used the home stay to explore the Ella region. While Ella is super touristy, the town of the Airbnb is very genuine and we loved the hustle and bustle. It is a separate apartment with a separate entrance. You’ll have everything you need including 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and terrace overlooking the property.

A dining table is set for breakfast outdoors, featuring various dishes including fruits, bread, and beverages. Two individuals are seated, enjoying their meal in a natural setting, with greenery visible in the background. The space is sheltered by a partially covered area.

My stay at this place by the water was simply & good. The natural sounds and the view of the temple create an peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. My host was fantastic!!!He speaks excellent English, gave me great tips, and even organized a full-day tour for me. He was patient, kind, and always helpful. The accommodation is slightly away from the tourist crowds—exactly what I was looking for. I stayed for two nights and was completely satisfied. The room had everything I needed, including a small balcony.

This was an amazing stay! I wish I stayed longer. The owners Asith and his wife have made a lovely piece of heaven in the mountains. The property and it's surrounding are a dream! The hosts are kind and made us a top notch breakfast. On top of that they are so accommodating and super hard working. There are some considerations when people choose to book, if you're bringing a mini van it's a bit tricky, but the owners make it work! But just keep in mind roads are narrow. They provide their tuk tuk to help as well.

Very simple room with bathroom, but beautiful view of the mountains and waterfall. No airconditioning, but that was no problem as it is cooler in the mountains and the room has a fan. Dawn also offered a great breakfast, would highly recommend staying here!

Dawn’s place has a gorgeous view. It was about a 15 minute walk out of the centre of the town Ella, but to us this is what made it so special. It was in a really quiet valley with gorgeous views across the expanse of green and nature surrounding us. We found the actual town of Ella to be very touristy and commercial, so the peaceful serenity of Dawn’s place was perfect for us. We could go on lovely hikes from there. The room is simple but very comfortable and clean and with a fan stays cool. It has the loveliest little terrace where we sat and read and had delicious breakfasts of fruit and Sri Lankan goodies. Dawn’s team was so lovely and smiley.

Communication was great before & during our stay. Our time here was excellent. Magnificent views, comfortable living. Comfortable beds. Rooftop breakfasts a great way to start the day. Shan & JP were super helpful with recommendations and advice for Ella. Also arranged transport for us to local sites and offered to arrange our transfer to our next destination if we needed.

Lovely place, just next to Ella city approx 800m away. Near train tracks but it’s not at all disturbing. They were amazing host. They picked us up far away from our location and also helped us in dropping at Colombo International airport. Always recommend others to check on this property as everything is very nearby
