Worth every penny, that was one of the coolest stays I’ve ever had. The place was great, I would highly recommend it, it’s right beside the river which soothes the soul and Lulls you to sleep. I have to talk about the service, wow, incredible, I felt like royalty the way I was treated, and the main gentleman I believe his name was Dithu? He was beyond amazing, he went so out of his way to make me feel welcome, secure and cared for. He truly was amazing, all the staff were! As well as the main lady, I can’t remember her name! They also told me about cricket and we watched the fame while they prepared me a feast. Thankyou everyone for an incredible and memorable stay.

We’ve just left the treehouse chalet with the happiest of memories. The food was delicious (they fed our coeliac daughter incredibly well), the treehouse was gorgeous with views that are out of this world. The service and care was incredible. Aruns knowledge and passion for nature is amazing - he oozes love for what he is doing and passed it on to all of us. We swam in waterfalls, walked to the local village, saw the stars …. We were there for 4 nights - it went far too quickly. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in nature, calm surroundings to add this to their itinerary. You won’t regret it!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations! Staying here is a gem of a find, because Sanath is clearly a well respected man locally who has extensive knowledge of elephants and the surrounding area. The hospitality was unmatched and the food served my Sanath & family was delicious. In addition, we loved hearing his stories of time spent working in the national park. We wish Sanath and family all the best for their future plans and wholly recommend staying here for a safari adventure.

wow just wow. the most beautiful stay ever. I couldn't believe the view we had from our balcony. the nicest place I've stayed while travelling sri lanka. it was clean, they were very friendly and attentive. very private also, it was a dream after coming from all the busy. I cannot recommend this place more, we wish we could've stayed longer! it is about 5 minute walk to then get a 5 minute tuk tuk to the centre of Ella. perfect distance to feel in pure peace but easy to get to business of food/ get around. we hope to return one day. thankyou so much

We had such a great time at this place with my family. Our kids could play outside and we adults had a chance to relax. The whole host family were just lovely. Food was good, we got something for everyone (not an easy task). They helped us with everything we needed and were really flexible.

Such a beautiful place, with a welcoming and helpful host. Very nice accommodation, and excellent breakfast. Our host also advice us about the activities in the area.

The journey to the accommodation was really adventurous. But every meter is worth it to get to this fantastic place. At night you have the background noise of the jungle and fireflies around you. I've rarely seen anything so beautiful. In addition, the place is super nice and the whole team is absolutely eager and helpful
