It was more than spacious enough for five people to stay, and we had a relaxing stay. It was close to the station and there was an elevator, making it convenient, but I was a little scared to go out at night in terms of safety, so I tried to go home early. The host was very kind, and it was helpful to have a detailed explanation and information about the area. I think it's perfect for large groups and families.

Chie's home was clean, comfortable and spacious, with good proximity to Utsunomiya station. Lots of good outdoor drying racks for clothes. Chie was very helpful in helping us prepare for our trip. The instructions were quite clear, although there are warning signs all over the apartment reminding you to be as quiet as possible, which can be difficult with two small children.

My second stay with Tomoyuki since two years ago. Everything went beautifully as expected. The weather was not cooperating on one of the four days but that allowed me to stay in to enjoy this vintage tradition home and felt the tranquility it presented itself on a rainy day. The hike nearby was kimochīi (feeling great). The izakayas recommended were subarashī (wonderful). Tomo introduced me to spend a day at Mashiko. The famous pottery town was preparing for the upcoming Golden Week event and I appreciated "the calm before the storm" time strolling the quiet town. Some keepsakes were bought. I look forward to another visit soon, maybe in a different season to appreciate the range of activities available around the area.
