Vacation rentals in Ussel

This was a lovely chalet with the most incredible views. Lots of space and the bonus of toys for our 6/9 year old grand children. We found having a car great to drive them 7 minutes to ski school but there were ski buses. Shops within a 10 minute walk. For us the nursery slope with a drag lift 2 minutes walk at the end of the road for tobogganing/skiing was a massive bonus for late afternoon fun. What more can you say when your 9 year old grandson says it was the best holiday he had ever had a didn’t want to leave (neither did we).

Absolutely super nice host and Cosy apartment

Beautiful lovingly maintained river house. The location is phenomenal. The house is cozy and offers so many possibilities. Especially great are the outdoor area overlooking the river, terrace, meadow, barbecue, pizza oven, tables, chairs, etc. The only downside is the street that goes directly past the house on the other side. It's not busy, but if, the cars come quickly. Caution is advised with small children.

Livia’s apartment suited my teenage daughter and I really well. It is on the third floor of a small block of apartments, an easy and pleasant walk to the lifts up to the ski area via a small woodland. Lovely brand new bathroom with an excellent shower as well as a very good washer dryer. Beds were super comfortable. Really nice views from the balcony out into fields and then up to the mountains . Livia was really friendly and responsive and also very flexible as we navigated the disruptions of a big snow storm. Recommended!

This place exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect getaway. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore local restaurants, shops, and attractions. For skiers and snowboarders, it’s a dream, with easy access to all the major mountain ranges. What truly made our stay special was the host. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, ensuring we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough—whether you're here for adventure or relaxation, it’s the perfect choice for anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful, well equipped chalet and perfectly located to explore the magnificent French Alps. The garden, dip pool and sauna were also great assets. Supermarkets can be walked to in Les Houches, and Chamonix is only a 10 minute drive away. We loved our week here and wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.

We had a very good time at Christian's place. It's described very accurately, quite clean and renovated with taste. Communication on checkout times was not super clear (first it was noon but then it became 10am) and one of the towels smelled bad (likely it didn't dry properly) but those are minor things and I can very certainly recommend it.

Our short stay went very well. We were warmly welcomed by Silvia despite our very late arrival. The accommodation is impeccable, very clean and quiet. No problem finding it. A big thank you to Silvia for hosting us and for her care for the children. I would recommend it.
