Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.

Beautiful newly built apartment located on working farm. Warm, bright and spacious with two triple en suite bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay at Mary’s place. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Mary left some milk and food in the fridge which was a v nice touch. What an amazing place to stay and relax. Dee & Billy gave us a warm welcome as well as Graham & Ted (the family dogs). Everything was exceptional, a beautifully restored cottage and clearly a labour of love, the attention to detail and the decor was fabulous. Only a 15 min drive into Kilkenny town centre this place has it all, so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back at some stage. Best wishes Dee & Billy and thank you for everything.

Where do we start…this was our first stop in Ireland after a long trip from Toronto and Agnes went above and beyond to make us feel right at home, her hospitality is outstanding, the house is immaculate inside and out!! We felt like a King and Queen with the service of an awesome Irish breakfast!! The knowledge Agnes shares about the area is incredible, we wished we could have stayed longer but we know we will definitely be back!! Michael and Avril are wonderful people. Genuine , caring, hard working people. They were fresh baked muffins upon our arrival. The second day, Michael brought over some delicious desserts prepared by his sons. To wake up to the sound of the bleating of lambs and sheep, the lowing (moo) of the cows and the occasional rooster awakening the world is so refreshing. A great place to call home as you travel to the surrounding towns and villages to experience the taste of Ireland. The hosts are just beautiful people. Richard and Linda
