Monthly Rentals in Upper Kingsburg

We stayed at Mark's Place for two weeks of remote work and vacation and it was great! The location is just secluded enough to feel like you've gotten away but it's also an easy and pretty drive to Lunenburg for shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching the tides change from the living room couch and from the hot tub. Also, Mark's Place is fully stocked. It had every upscale item imaginable in the kitchen and each bathroom had its own set of towels, hairdryer, etc. It was also easy to communicate with Mark and his cleaning team and - for those who care - the WiFi was able to handle multiple laptops, phones and other devices without fail. As an added bonus, during our stay, we saw many different birds in the water and on the lawn, a deer family and a porcupine family.

Ree is an extremely attentive host. She contacted us before check-in by phone and by email, and sent us full instructions on the property. The house is very well equipped (the kitchen has - literally - everything), with lots of fans, pillows, bedding, etc. The booster seat was a big hit with our 7-month-old grandchild. We didn't access the barn or boathouse (beyond admiring them), but they would obviously be great fun for a family with older kids. And the Rose Bay General Store is also a gem - close by and well-stocked with the basics and more, plus bakery and restaurant.

Jody’s Box Cabin is amazing! Such a peaceful place. We enjoyed the quiet, serene atmosphere. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and relaxing shower. Great home base to explore lunenburg and area. Would recommend as a great place to stay!

Our family gathered at Shobac for a family reunion on the suggestion of our architect nephew. The location, cottages, and schoolhouse were amazing! The sheep, dogs, and cattle were endearing. The views and location are spectacular. It is a pleasure to have the host and architect on site!! 10 of 10. Thank you so much !!!
