What a splendid place to stay. Spectacular sunrises every morning, so relaxing & peaceful. Daun is an exceptional host,lovely lady,very helpful & a pleasure to have a chat with. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house, incredible views from the house and just a short walk to the beach from the house. Lots of games for adults and kids. Very well equipped in terms of plates cutlery etc we did not see any wildlife but we know there were some outdoor nighttime critters because the Easter eggs we hid outdoors for the kids were almost all gone by morning!

The Captain's house in Rose Bay is a great old house with a fantastic location right on the bay with a great view to the bay and Lunenburg. Michael is a great host who was very easy to contact and quick to help with any problems. Despite some sick days, we had a very good relaxing time in the Captain's house.

This is a special “end of the road” kind of place. Shobac is an architecturally significant little settlement and well worth the trip. The surroundings are so beautiful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including a BBQ. It could be a bit noisy and busy in the summer as there are several common areas on the property, but in the fall it was lovely and quiet. We are quite in awe with what the McKay-Lyons have created and they are great hosts to boot. Loved their dogs!
