We had such a wonderful stay at Ana Luisa and Kevin’s scenic farm! The beautifully renovated farmhouse was cozy, and full of charm — the perfect peaceful retreat. Ana Luisa was a super welcoming and responsive host, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was being greeted by their friendly goats, who happily tagged along as we explored the property. In the morning, we picked fresh eggs and made breakfast in the modern kitchen while enjoying lovely views of Round Pond. The mix of farm animals and local wildlife made it such a fun and unique experience. Kevin stopped by on our last morning to let us help with feeding the animals, which was a real treat. The location is also great — just a short drive to Camden, Rockport, and Rockland, but still totally private and relaxing. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something special and a little off the beaten path!

My girlfriend and I of three years have never gone on a vacation away and finally decided it was our time to do so. After searching for a while to make sure we found a place that fit in our price range and had what we wanted and we stumbled apon The Barn. The Barn is perfect for a couple's getaway or even just a home base for adventuring rural maine. This place has positivity seeping from it and it is obvious that many people have made awesome memories here. Denis goes over and above the description of a super host and made our stay absolutely wonderful, from the amenities he provides to his responsiveness he excels. If you were hesitant at all the only thing I'll tell you is don't be. The Barn is a little slice of home in the rural Maine countryside and it is worth every penny you pay to stay here and more. Thank you more than everything Denis we are planning on making it back as soon as possible!!

I have zero complaints about Gordon's home. Everything was accurately described and the property was beautiful! it is right on the pond and the pictures do it justice. Yes, it's a little small and gets cold in the winter but it's worth it if you want to stay somewhere pretty without breaking the bank. Also, he has 3 heaters. We didn't leave them on because we were gone a lot of the time but it probably would have stayed warm if we did. This is really a great property for a couple! Highly recommended.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely old, rustic farmhouse that reminded us of going to our grandparents’ houses as kids. The location is great and feels very rural despite being so close to some great nearby towns to check out. Being there in mid-late October also seems to have been the perfect time. Not too hot, not too cold, and the fall colors of the surrounding trees were great. Everything was clean and functioning and we had no issues. Although we didn’t listen to any records, the record collection was awesome. Great taste. Also very interesting and eclectic collection of books. Sitting outside in the morning sun flipping through a couple was very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and would love to see what it looks like when all the renovations are done.
