Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, die Unterkunft war super gemütlich und schön. Krishanta ist der perfekte Gastgeber, er gibt gute Tipps für Unternehmungen, organisiert Trips und fährt einen flexibel zu verschiedenen Orten. Wir würden immer wieder gerne dort sein 🙏🏼💛

It felt like becoming part of a warm, welcoming family. We were touched by the smiles of their adorable children and the thoughtful local dishes the hosts shared with us. The space looked exactly like the photos—beautiful and cozy, just like home. The location was perfect, very close to the city center. They even helped us with transportation, making our transition to the next destination smooth and stress free. This wasn’t just a stay it became a heartfelt memory. Thank you, truly.

The Apartment is really nice. Especially because it is located directly next to a beautiful beach. As a guest there are also two daybeds at the beach that can be used for free. The apartment has a big terrace with nice views towards the beach, on which we enjoyed our breakfast and playing card games in the evening. The host was also really nice and he provided us with very useful advice for local restaurants, attractions etc. All in all we had a very nice time at this place.

Ruwan ist ein überaus lieber Mensch der sehr darum bemüht ist, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab einen Kühlschrank voll mit kostenlosem Wasser. Frühstückszeiten waren nach Absprache, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen mehr variieren können (es gab jeden Tag das Gleiche). Ruwan organisierte uns den Transport zur nächsten Unterkunft zum Uber Preis. Und der Fahrer war auch sehr nett. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu den Schildkröten und nach Galle zusammen mit Ruwan gemacht, den ich mir ehrlich gesagt etwas anders vorgestellt hatte. Ich dachte er ist so etwas wie ein Touri Guide der uns auch Informationen an die Hand gibt, aber er hat uns lediglich gefahren. Dafür empfand ich den Preis als etwas zu hoch. Aber es war dennoch sehr schön und eine gute Idee. Wir bereuen es nicht 4 Nächte bei Ruwan verbracht zu haben und können es guten Gewissens empfehlen. Gerne wieder dort.

Staying with Nalaka and his family was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had on our trip. From the very first moment, we didn’t just feel welcome, we felt like we were visiting old friends. They have such big hearts and were always there with a smile, a kind word, or a helping hand. The place itself was even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was super clean, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. But what made our stay unforgettable was the way Nalaka and his family treated us. We had so many lovely conversations, and it always felt like they genuinely cared about us and our experience. He also cooked for us a few times, and the food was honestly some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. So if you’re looking for a real, honest, and heartwarming Sri Lankan experience, not just a place to sleep, but a place to connect, then you should definitely book this Airbnb. We’ll always remember this stay, and we’re so grateful we got to meet Nalaka and his wonderful family.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

We stayed at Sajeewa’s home for three weeks and could not recommend it enough. It’s spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to cook meals and save money on eating out. The gardens around the house are lush and invite lots of birds for watching in the early mornings. The balcony is such a highlight, it’s serene and peaceful, you could spend hours there chatting, working or simply staring into nature. Sajeewa and his family are so hospitable and very easy to communicate with, they made our stay feel very homely. Local shops are within walking distance and Weligama beach is a 20 minute walk at best. We would definitely stay with Sajeewa again if we’re back in Weligama.

Ma famille et moi avons adoré notre séjour. L’appartement est très bien entretenu et très propre. Les hôtes sont d’une grande gentilesse et aidant. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter. La seule petite chose, le logement est difficile à trouver :)

Janith's place was amazing, exactly the same as on photos, very clean and comfortable for solo/duo stay. Cleaning and linen change is done once per week. It's located within walkable distance to the beach and restaurants, you may also rent a bike from Janith. Nearby there're some restaurants. Internet was good and stable, perfect for video calls. Apartment is located on the second floor of the house with a separate entrance, on the first floor there's a host family. They're very friendly and nice people, Janith is very responsive and helpful as well. The only downside for me was the noise - soundproof situation is extremely bad, you may easily hear children screaming outside in the morning and drunk tourists singing at night. I had to sleep with my earplugs on, however I'm a light sleeper. Except the noise, I felt pretty comfortable there, recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at Coloration Villa! Sumudu is a wonderful host—welcoming, helpful, and always available. The villa is modern, clean, and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. I loved the spacious rooms, open-plan kitchen, and the peaceful garden. The location is ideal—close to Hikkaduwa’s beaches and nightlife, yet tucked away in a quiet village. Whether you’re here to surf, explore, or just unwind, this place is perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Very good apartment, everything looked like the photos. You will have access to a big kitchen with fridge and enough things to cook normal food, a room with a table + chair, good for working on computer, a bedroom with big bed, wardrobe big enough for 2 weeks, chairs, and a bathroom with shower with hot water, toilets and sink, and 2 small balconies. Place is quiet, you are far from trafic and nightlife, you can hear animals, especially peacocks who can be strongly noisy in early morning, and hear a mosque with pray in early morning too, but this one is kind of far. They are buildings under construction around the apartment, there was not renovation when I was, but it can be. Host is really nice, everything was smooth and confortable, amazing place to stay. To notice: - even if you can go to center by walking, I strongly advice to have a scooter - water pressure and wifi are not strong, as many places in Sri Lanka - they are dogs in the garden, very friendly

We had wonderful 11 nights at this place. We wanted to feel like at our home, feel how locals live and that"s the what we've got. There is no AC (as advertised in the ad), but it was not a problem. The fan above the bed does it's work perfectly. The open kitchen is amazing and you can make what ever you want. There is everything, including the blender (which is significant, considering the abundance of fresh tropical fruits everywhere). There was almost no mosqitoes in beautiful garden. Also, lot of local animals and a pretty friendly monkey. There were some shortages of water, but it was not a serious problem. Raju was a great host and we will surely come again.

Отдыхали с 31 апреля по 16 марта. Договорились с хозяином о трансфере из аэропорта за честную цену и так же трансфер обратно. Жилье очень комфортное, определенно стоит своих денег, хозяин очень приветливы, угощал фруктами и приглашал на традиционный завтрак. Вокруг вас будут жить много обезьянок, разнообразных птичек и милые белки 🐿️ Обезьяны ни разу не заходили на нашу территорию так как пугливые но наблюдать за ними со стороны одно удовольствие. В безопасности жилья можно быть абсолютно спокойным. Так же к нам приезжали друзья и дом рассчитан чтобы принять 4 человека но без ночевой так как кондиционер только в одной спальне а остальное помещение охлаждают вентиляторы. Кухня большая просторная с плитой, блендером, рисоваркой и всем необходимым если захочется готовить самим. Душевая с туалетом большая и просторная. Так же хозяин предлагает экскурсию в Эллу и может отвезти вас туда на своей машине за хороший прайс. А на 3 этаже вас ждут 2 шезлонга и потрясающий вид на звездное небо 🌌

Хороший удобный дом, в хорошем месте, рядом с хорошим пляжем.

We had a great stay at this place. The apartment is perfectly renovated and extremely clean. It’s a great spot to experience local village life, away from the tourist crowds, and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Anna was always available for any questions and was very friendly. If you need complete silence to sleep, you might want to bring earplugs. Pickme doesn't work so well because of the hilly location, so I’d recommend saving the numbers of the tuk-tuk drivers and contacting them directly.

I have enjoyed the stay. It would have been much better if rooms had AC

一个大庄园，环境非常别致优美，里面有椰林，芒果树，杨桃树……地段也非常棒，紧邻海边，服务非常热情，宾至如归，也非常个性化，因为去观鲸回来晚了，多给我们一间房子延迟退房。可惜在酒店呆的时间还不够多，没有足够时间享受这么美好的环境。非常推荐。

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
