House vacation rentals in Umkirch

We had a really great stay! The accommodation was super well maintained, clean and very well equipped. Jean Michel was a really nice, warm and helpful host. We even got baguette and Gugelhupf. Thank you! We will definitely be back! 😊

Unfortunately, the weather was only good on the last day. The swimming pool was fine. The house is divided into two parts, one of which is occupied by the hostess. However, only we were allowed to use the bathroom. The location is rather rural (in a village), and there are few leisure opportunities nearby.

A large, cozy house. We spent our annual family vacation here with 14 people. The house is well equipped. There is no boredom here. It was very hot when we were there. We were able to cool off well in the pool. However, more loungers with cushions and a parasol would have been great. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Very big and spacious house with nice amenities . Great when you are traveling with children

We were warmly welcomed by Angele and Antoine who gave us good clear instructions on how to use all the facilities ensuring that if we had any questions or problems she was always available to us. The garden is beautiful and well kept with fruit and nut trees adding to the charm. It is very quiet, peaceful and the pool looked extremely inviting but just not warm enough for us yet. Easy access to the Alsace wine route and the villages on the route were very quant and interesting. This is a must do on any visit to the area. An extremely easy check in/out and would recommend this property to all.

We came for a wedding at my Argentin farm. We took the opportunity to visit the area. The accommodation is clean. There is a beautiful, very practical kitchen. The volume of the living room is lovely. the big positive point is the exterior with a pool and the Liepvrette that passes below. We took advantage of the local shops: pharmacy, Carrefour and hairdresser (Les Ciseaux d'Argent). The proximity is perfect for visiting the Upper Koenigsburg and the villages of the Wine Route. Jérôme and Daniel were very nice and available to make our stay in their area go smoothly. Thank you again!

Very nice, modern, cozy and clean apartment. Comfortable beds, reading lamps by the bed :-) Demeter egg stand right by the house. You can go hiking from the front door. Other great shopping: At the Hochburg fresh Demeter milk (take the bottles!), sausage, apple juice, Secco and Christmas geese, small vegetable self-service shop in Maleck (Frischehisli, Oberdorfstrasse), vending machine at the entrance to Windenreute, next to the recycling bin, from the restaurant Weinschenke

This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

Accommodation as described, good location for discovering the region and its beautiful villages. Mélissa is a thoughtful and responsive host who cares about the comfort and well-being of the occupants. I would highly recommend it. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Very nice place to stay with a great garden, comfortable sleeping places and good connection by bus and car. Communication with Tim was very good and the message exchange friendly! Check-in and check-out are easy and the explanations are great. We enjoyed our long weekend in Freiburg as a group of friends and can only recommend the accommodation for it! :)

What a lovely spot and what sweet landlords. We felt comfortable even though you are outside on private property. The space is all in one (living room, bedroom and kitchen) but that makes it cozy and everything is there. (Of course, a separate bathroom.) The car could be parked in front of the door, and you have your own entrance. The bakery is around the corner. A perfect place if you want to visit the region and drive the wine route.

Perfect stay – thank you, Franz! We had a wonderful time staying at the place. Everything was very clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The peaceful surroundings provided for relaxation, and at the same time everything important, such as Europa-Park and Rulantica, was easily and quickly accessible. A very special thank you to the host Franz – super friendly, helpful and always available. They immediately felt welcome and in good hands. You don't find such warm care everywhere! We'd love to come back and highly recommend this place.

Laurence's place is no less than a piece in heaven. Its beautiful, peaceful and a perfect nature gateway for city dwellers. She has everything available from the coal for the barbeque to the beach chairs to chill in the garden. the kitchen is fully equipped to make some delicious meals ( we made some extremely delicious ones). The stream running just down the slope from the cabin provides a perfect dipping and sun bathing spot. It's located in a great spot for moderate hikes, like to Altenweiher lake. Overall 10/10 experience. I felt no less than Alice in wonderland. Laurence herself is very friendly and quick to answer. She even accommodated our need to check in early. This place is total value for money.

The house was very clean and tidy, with beautiful decor throughout. Chloé was incredibly responsive and friendly, which made the stay more enjoyable. We loved the balcony—it was a great spot to relax. Overall, a great place to stay!

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Ines’ place is a dream. It’s located in a small village with a drive through the beautiful Schwarzwald forest. There is a small grocery store down the street with a meat market next to it and a bakery across from it. Not too far away are bigger grocery stores and shopping centers but we didn’t even find a need for those. The location is ideal for day trips to France and even Switzerland and returning to the tranquility of the house after a long day of exploring was wonderful. The host lives next door if you need anything but the rest of the house is surrounded by meadows and trees as far as the eye can see. The stars light up the sky at night, and sitting outside to watch them was a treat. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We spent three weeks at Fabiene's. A wonderful, attentive host who is always available and very reliable. We felt very, very comfortable from the first moment in this super-equipped house by the stream and in the beautiful wild garden. The description of the house and the surroundings were completely consistent. Despite the sometimes high temperatures, we were able to relax completely in the shade by the stream. The equipment of the house was above average. This house can be booked without any problems. The leisure activities in this region are diverse. Thank you Fabien for everything, we will recommend this enchanting house.

A very nice apartment with a great garden, sauna, hot tub and very stylishly furnished. The hostess greeted us on site and was very helpful, friendly and warm. We'd love to come back anytime - we had a very magical time on site. 5 stars 🌟
