Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Umhlanga Rocks

I recently spent time at 125 Penzance for my mother’s 60th birthday. The venue was so pretty and comfortable. We received so much help from the caretaker Sboniso who made us feel right at home and went out of his way to help us set up tables and everything, there was no request too big for him. It’s the perfect place to host a gathering, we definitely would love to make use of the back garden next time! Thank you so much Zama for making things easy for us!

Beautiful house and very friendly host.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

Melissa was the BEST. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had! The place is absolutely beautiful and truly became the highlight of our vacation. The check-in process was smooth. It was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend this place and I am definitely going back.

What an absolutely amazing place, totally worth it i can not use anyother words but stunning ,stunning ,stunning!! I was extremely impressed by the entertainment my little one had with all the toys. That was a big plus and the house was in such great condition everything worked and everything was perfect, the fact that there was shower gel,milk little muffins and so much more provided shows the attention to detail and care of the hosts amazing hospitality,she was so friendly and always available for assistance, not that we needed any but it was definitely a wonderful stay. Wow, what an amazing house! Stunning with plenty of room and right on the beach. Everybody who went just loved the place and can't wait to go back. Exactly what we wanted, somewhere to stay that was near the beach, affordable, clean and comfortable. This was better than our expectation. On arrival we were welcomed by the host Liesl who was extremly friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome. The place was super clean, the bed was so comfortable and everything was juts perfect. The host thought of everything from a beach bag we could use to an umbrella if it rained and we were even welcomed with tea, coffee and rusks. We highly recommend this place to stay as its nothing less than amazing and your stay will be perfect, right on the beach and tranquil. A perfect holiday stay.

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Durban! The home is absolutely beautiful, stylish, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views that made the stay even more special. You can really tell that care and attention to detail went into creating a welcoming space. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: the couch could use a deep clean or reupholstering, as it had a bit of a worn look and lacked that fresh, clean scent. The cushion inners were also quite flat, so replacing them would really bring the lounge area back to life. I stayed in the bedroom facing the passageway, and I’d recommend adding block-out curtains or blinds , the hallway light filters into the room at night, which made it difficult to sleep. That said, everything else was outstanding, and I’d absolutely stay here again. With just a few tweaks, this place would be perfection!

The penthouse is beautiful and comfortable. Robyn is such an amazing host - she’s friendly, responsive and accommodating. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely visit again.

Yusuf’s apartment was in a great location close to everything. Short walk to beachfront, restaurants and was a well maintained place to stay. The security at the gate was friendly and welcoming, creating peace of mind.

Easily the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in: I stayed with Mike, Sally, and their friendly dog, Riggs, as well as their excellent helper, Patience, during Ironman 70.3, and it was incredible. The garden cottage is a peaceful, modern, and thoughtfully stocked retreat. You can relax with the doors open to the garden and the ocean breeze, or enjoy the cool comfort of the aircon inside. It's spotless, beautifully furnished, and has everything you need. The location is perfect, close to beaches, restaurants, and shops—but what makes it truly special is the warm, welcoming family. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I'll definitely be back next year. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to get away and Justine was awesome! So proactive, helpful and organized! Brilliant, will definitely become a regular.

We have just completed a 3 week stay with 4 adults sharing Loren's place. In our opinion it is the perfect place to stay if visiting Ballito. The apartment itself is large, very clean and extremely well equipped. The complex is very well maintained, in particular the pool and garden areas. It is also situated in an ideal spot with direct access to the boardwalk and beach, and is a within a short walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking is secure and undercover. We can't add much more to all the other positive reviews which are spot on. For any golfers, we would highly recommend Umhlali Country Club golf course which is a 10 minute drive away.  Thanks especially to our hosts Loren, Deon and Viv who are on hand and very quick to respond should you need anything.

Definitely an amazing accommodation very peaceful place everything was amazing the cleaning lady was excellent very sweet very down to earth absolutely a sweet heart the house was beautiful and i felt right at home.
