Chris's place is really a home away from home, while still getting a relaxing and safe holiday experience. I was even able to cook a special lunch for my family and the kitchen had everything that I needed, to the last detail. We had a lovely stay and I highly recommend Cheers Umzumbe, and Chris is a very patient and efficient host.

This place is such a lovely cosy home away from home. The place is well kept and absolutely beautiful. The beach access is literally a stone throw away which made visits there that much more enjoyable. We will be definitely coming back.

The Beach House was everything I hoped it to be. Spacious enough for a comfortable family gathering for a special occasion! The sunrise view from the Beach House on a clear morning is something dreams are made of and out of a picture book. The dolphins put on a show on the last day which then meant all the boxes for this holiday were ticked! The pool and lapa in a protected area an added alternative and bonus. Thank you for a dream week away... I hope to be back again in the future!

A Wonderful Stay in Kingsburgh! We had an amazing stay at Ugan's Airbnb in Kingsburgh! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. From the moment we arrived, Ugan went out of his way to make us feel welcome. His warmth and hospitality were truly remarkable—he made us feel like we were at home the entire time. He is a genuinely friendly host who cares deeply about his guests and ensures they have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Whether it was offering local tips or helping us with anything we needed, Ugan was always ready to assist. We will definitely be booking with him again in the future. We had an amazing stay! Trish and Ken are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to help us make the most of our trip. The flat is fantastic and even better than the photos illustrate. The private garden with the braai is a great feature. We would highly recommend the local diving on the Aliwal Shoal as well as the local hikes. We will be back to continue our KZN education! 🙂

Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend! We had such a wonderful stay at this spacious, private and comfortable flat! Marianne was fantastic—communication was excellent, and she was so friendly, making us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we could not have asked for a better host - Marianne is an absolute delight! The flat itself was absolutely spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed—it truly felt like a "home from home." Marianne gave us access to her secure garage for our vehicle, we had access to Netflix, WiFi, outside sun lounger and dining/braai area. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the beach, a local restaurant and pub. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Marianne for such a lovely time!

Our stay at the rondavel was absolutely perfect. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel at home. The location is unbeatable, with a stunning ocean view and just a short walk to the beach. The accommodation is equipped with everything you could possibly need – and then some! From dumbbells and yoga mats to snorkeling gear and candles for a cozy atmosphere, every little detail has been thought of. The sea is warm, and the beach is almost empty, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Alan was a wonderful host. He gave us a warm welcome, provided great local tips, and even stocked the fridge with bread, jam, yogurt, and fresh eggs from his own chickens. A selection of fresh fruit was also waiting for us upon arrival. We felt completely comfortable and at ease during our stay, and I highly recommend this rondavel to anyone looking to escape the fast pace of everyday life. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and truly cozy – a little South African paradise!

A beautiful home with a lovely maintained garden and swimming pool. Great to have a water tank, which we used since there was no water for a day during our stay. Lovely sized bedrooms, with extra comfy beds, with an aircon in each room. Paula was so friendly and kept in good communication during our stay. All round, a wonderful get-away - will definitely be back!

It was just what we wanted a little bit of peace with the ocean at our door step. The house could do with a few upgrades but thats life living at the sea and the salt sea air, it won't however stop us from staying there again! It was safe and had everything we needed for our stay! Thomas the caretaker was there for anything we needed, he was also not intrusive and left us to do our thing! We didnt want to leave and again would definitely book another stay there!

This is our second visit to Cods View and it was again wonderful. A beautiful well equipped house with amazing views and sun rises. A perfect place to relax! Debs was there to welcome us even though we had last minute changes to our travel plans.

Beautiful house well equipped and situated walking distance from beach. Magical garden with stunning pool and braai area. We enjoyed the pizza oven. Beautiful rooms with a sea. Squeaky clean bathrooms with luxurious linen. Beautiful kitchen with state of the art fridge and coffee machine. All you meed is in this kitchen. Gracious host that checked in on us and provided all info. Staff on the premises are fantastic. Dog friendly fenced property, beaches and restaurants. We loved every second and will be back. We had a wonderful stay at Ishara's place. It was such a lovely relaxing place. The place is way better than what u see in the pictures. It was so neat and clean and spacious.The most amazing thing about the place was the breathtaking views. The sea, the tidal pool, the dolphins...U can just sit on the deck, have your breakfast/lunch and enjoy the views. It was also so good to have your own braai area and own pool, we made good use of it. The unit has the best appliances and everything that u would need. It was also great having DSTV for the rainy days. Ishara was great in terms of communication, when we needed something she was very responsive, accommodating and welcoming, being flexible with the checkin arrangements for us when we arrived later than planned. Also the helper was Olive was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place, you would definitely enjoy every bit of it
