A beautiful and spotlessly clean home with all the comforts to make our stay a magical experience. The undercover patio is weatherproof and was our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the lush natural foliage. The monkey troop that passed through daily were curious and not a nuisance at all - we loved watching them for the few minutes that they visited us every day. The home is furnished with an array of interesting and personal items that were fascinating and intriguing. And so many wonderful books to suit all tastes! We were blown away by the dog bed and water bowl that awaited our two small dogs - such a lovely touch! Easy access to the garden for our house-trained dogs. Absolutely no security concerns at all. The estate is a wonderland of walking trails, dams, indigenous natural bush and wildlife. We will definitely be back - 8 nights was just too short! It was home away from home. we enjoyed our stay and had some peace and quiet time.

Place was exactly as described. A perfect place to rest a mere 10min drive away from Durban central. WiFi was exhausted on day 1 with my 3 children. I like to try new places. But Matt's place is a safe bet so will probably return. High 5 Matt.

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

Paul and Lee were quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with, also gave great recommendations to nearby restaurants. The house is so cozy and outdoors beautiful and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend and amazing value for money. Will be back.

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

The pictures dont do just to the place,the home is more beautiful than the pics.The host was so warm & welcoming she made sure our stay was very comfortable She went the extra mile as to provide extra pot & actually even buying a bigger pot for us All bathrooms had shower gel provided

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be going back 😀 thank you Margriet for being such an amazing host.

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

A very big and spacious cottage within walking distance of the local shopping centre. The bed was large and very comfortable too.. We stayed there for 8 nights and had no issues at all. Britt responded quickly to any questions. Recommended Carl & Tracy Schafer Southampton UK

What a lovey stay. Location perfect. Close enough to the beach and great restaurants. Check was easy peazy. Adding to lists if favourites to re-visit.

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Lindsay’s. The place is as pictured; very spacious, clean and great for holiday. The helper was amazing too - so understanding and accommodating throughout our visit. I’d definitely come back!

The host was very understanding and accommodating to my family and myself when circumstances beyond us hit. That is something no amount of money can cover. The humility and humaneness that of the host will always stand out. The accommodation is simple, clean and offers all the basics for a good stay. We are a family of 4 so the place was adequately sized.

We had such a great stay at Tanya’s place. It’s a modern, beautiful and peaceful space. The views were also amazing. The hosts were responsive, helpful and gave us privacy. Would definitely visit again!

Jon and Wilna were amazing on my stay. They gave clear communication which was amazing and they were so understanding when I was unintentionally wasting their time. The place is perfect cute with everything one needs and the beach is a block away. Was so peaceful and their dogs are the cutest! Highly recommended especially for the price.
