The place is as advertised. While it could be cleaner, it's not too bad. The furniture is in good condition, which adds to the comfort. The smart TVs are a nice addition, but unfortunately, none of the apps (DSTV, Netflix, Showmax) were working. Access and entry procedures are simple and straightforward. The host’s communication was excellent—responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Checkout can be a bit challenging for a family with kids, but it's understandable. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely go back.

The place was great, even better than the pictures. All the amenities listed were available and so much more. It’s a dream for young kids, because of the large pool and yard space to run around. The communication was great, all our questions were answered very quickly. The place was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Definitely recommend 10/10

Great spot to be if you want to experience Zimbali has to offer. A proper inverter system would be great improvement

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. Lovely apartment overlooking a good beach where you can safely swim, nice pool area, secure building. Easy walk to both the nature reserve one way and the busy village area the other. Lots of food options. We enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. Oscar is a perfect host. He even invented me to braai he had with his friend and his son. We had greaf conversation over meal. The place is neat, clean and private.

I recently stayed at a fantastic Airbnb in Kloof for a work trip, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made my stay smooth and stress-free. The place was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. It was also very comfortable, providing a peaceful environment to relax and recharge after long workdays. All the amenities in the unit were up to standard, ensuring I had everything I needed for a productive stay. I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kloof for work or leisure.

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

Place was exactly as described. A perfect place to rest a mere 10min drive away from Durban central. WiFi was exhausted on day 1 with my 3 children. I like to try new places. But Matt's place is a safe bet so will probably return. High 5 Matt.

An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful beachfront cottage with our kids! The cottage was spacious, clean, and perfectly suited for families. Ashley was a wonderful host, very helpful and good communication! The house was great had everything you needed and the open plan lives so well! Only downside there was only AC in the main bedroom but all rooms had fans. We loved our stay!

Had a fantastic stay. The house is extremely spacious and lacks nothing in terms of comfort and the Wi-Fi is excellent. If you love beautiful scenery and superb birding, then this is the place for you. We’ll definitely be back for an extended stay.

We had a great stay at Wayne's place! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main beach. While the unit differed slightly from the one we originally booked, it still had everything we needed for a relaxing December holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it!

What an amazing long weekend getaway! Natalie was so so helpful with everything we needed. The unit is beautiful and cosy with a magnificent view! Natalie went out of her way to make sure we have everything we needed- she's such a sweet and kind host.
