Apartment vacation rentals in Ulverston

It was fortunate for us to find this lovely room in the valley. Thanks to the warm and heartfelt hospitality of Mr. Peter and his wife, our first trip to the Lake District became an unforgettable gem of a memory. You can relax in a private space and enjoy a pleasant time after hiking and rambling. When looking for a place to stay in the Lake District, I highly recommend booking this room wholeheartedly. We would love to come back again if we have the chance!

Craig place is perfect for a short and just across from butcher, baker and candle stick maker …and a pub! Lovely touch of some South African wine on arrival (how did you know)

We had a fantastic couple of days at the Hideaway. The apartment is in the heart of the town and across from a pay and display car park, so couldn't have been more convenient and it's easy to find with its floral outside wall! Everything matched the photos and description and Jonathan was extremely helpful and responsive, providing clear instructions and offering to help with local recommendations. The property was spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished, with all the amenities needed. Every room is a good size and it has a lovely large shower (bonus points!). It was a very comfortable home away from home, just perfect for our short break in beautiful Ulverston.

It’s a GREAT place to stay, I’ll definitely come again! The accommodation itself is good. It’s clean and tidy, with a decent place to work, quiet and friendly neighbour, and all the facilities I need. The hosts are so nice and friendly! The location is convenient as well, it’s not too far from the railway station, Iceland supermarket, library and the Kendal castle, and it only takes about 40 min to get to windermere.

Had a great couple of days here. Great central location with lots of pubs and places to eat. Easy to drive into The Dales for walks and Heather was a great host. Sweetcorn is a clean and cosy flat on the main road, pub directly next door and one across the road, both dog friendly 🙂. Car park is really close as well which was handy.

Lynne's place was absolutely fabulous! A small but perfectly fitted out dwelling. Everything you would need for a short stay (a week easily)was provided. The bunk beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well. Lynne was a very accomodating and friendly host too and went above and beyond to make us welcome. The location is splendid too. Highly reccomended.

Highly recommend for a peaceful stay! Me and my family enjoyed having coffees and teas while watching the amazing views all around the apartment. The garden had everything we needed, ended our trip with a quick bbq and games room with snooker, table tennis and darts. Very cozy bedrooms and kitchen had everything needed and more. My highlight was playing with her hens, sheep and dogs. Thanks for such a lovely Emma! :)

Lovely place, very clean and well laid out. Nice large bathroom and plenty of space for luggage. Very peaceful and great views, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful places where we have stayed. Beautiful interiors and a very calm neighbourhood. Everything was perfect. And also she provided all the basic amenities as mentioned. Pam was very helpful and quick to respond. We really love to come back to Pam’s place. And we highly recommend it.

The most beautiful property at the most beautiful location. The apartment is even better than what the pictures manage to capture, with the location to die for. You have incredible views from each one of the windows. They have provided with very well laid out and detailed information and instructions about everything in and around. Will definitely revisit.

What an amazing find; the boat house is spacious, comfortable, extremely clean and has everything we needed. Paula and Sue are really helpful and it was a pleasure to meet them. We were very impressed by their cycling and swimming exploits! The views from the balcony are superb and the village has everything we needed for a relaxing break. We spent a long time gazing at the sea from there and the little bench on the front. We even went to the community cinema which was wonderful. Loved the Boathouse, loved the village, loved the area. Lovely stay in a beautiful town. The Loft was cute and surprisingly spacious. Alison was very communicative, offering recommendations and being clear on instructions. The nearby surroundings had brilliant restaurants and pubs, so I'd highly recommend both The Loft and Cartmel.

Incredible location, lovely place, super comfy beds, very peaceful, super clean, lake access, away from the bustling Lake District tourism but close enough when we needed it. Sally was helpful and responsive. The best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had. Worth every penny!

Really comfortable and quiet apartment right in the centre of Windermere town. Very convenient for shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed and lovely that it is dog friendly. It was the ideal spot for a weeks visit. Note that there is no parking space with this listing, however we never had any issues getting a parking spot across the street in the evenings, which suited us well as we were out hiking for most of the days anyway. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Lovely stay at Marie’s place, has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Located on a nice quiet road close to local amenities, will definitely be back. Marie is amazing always on hand to help and very fast replies to any questions!

Such a steal last minute booking on a bank holiday, we were so surprised it hadn’t been booked being in such a central location and obviously the hot tub which is always a big swading point for us. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. So spacious for 2. The hot tub was a lovely temp with a little cover above us which helped with privacy from other houses and the rain. Though there was a little tear or two in it which meant rain seeped through but this didn’t bother us. We were a little taken back there wasn’t a microwave either but again this wasn’t an issue. Everything was spotless. Round the corner from one of our favourite pubs (the crafty baa) and plenty of food, drink and shops around. Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay xx

Patrick’s apartment is a great place in a stunning location, with everything you need for your trip away. The place is ideal for friends looking for a couple of nights away. I would highly recommend and hope to return for another stay.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

My partner and I were up for a break from work - arrived feeling stressed and left feeling happier. The hot tub was a lovely treat, rooms were lovely, decor was modern and cozy, and the location cannot be beaten.

Only stayed for 1 night but it was a lovely stay! The location was perfect and so relaxing with the stream at the end of the garden. Just short of a 10 minute walk to Main Street where there were some lovely pubs with excellent food so we had everything we needed for our stay! The hot tub was a nice touch too and already heated for us so we didn't have to do anything apart from get in and chill! Would definitely visit again. Thanks Phil!
