Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The holiday apartment is located below the village of Amden. The peasant family also lives in the same house. During the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (slurry). But we do our best and take this into account as far as possible. We have cats, dogs and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book with us, costs 30 Fr.

There are also two unheated rooms available on the attic floor. The house is surrounded by a large garden with cozy places to relax. Behind the house the creek gurgles. Our Hüsli is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fire pit and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the alpine feeling can be enjoyed particularly well from the bench on the front courtyard.
