It’s a good place to live, near a station and convenient store. Famous places are a bit far to go, but overall it’s a great place.

The experience at Taketo's house was wonderful! The directions to get there provided by the host were clear and effective. The house is very large for the standards I have experienced here in Japan; in addition to the living room, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The style and furnishings are superb, and Taketo provides everything someone might need to feel welcomed. And here I truly felt at home. Easy travel to the center of Kyoto, and the restaurants proposed by Taketo always lived up to expectations. Nothing left to chance and nothing left unkempt; a great experience! Taketo is always available, friendly and kind. If I return to Kyoto, I will look for this house again.

A great spot in Osaka! I was only here for one night but the space would be great for someone staying long term. Host lives/works in the building so he can help with luggage if you get in early or have any issues. Stocked kitchen and large fridge and amenities! Great value!

Loved this place and felt right at home. A beautiful apartment, really safe and secure in a quiet residential area but only a couple of minutes walk to major train stations/bus routes. Great host, really helpful communications and checked in on us a few times via text

We stayed in Naoyuki's property for 4 days and loved the stay. The room with 4 futons was amazing and very traditional with Japanese decors. The proximity to the bus stop and tram/train station was extremely convenient in terms of transportation. The stay was as warm and cozy as Kyoto.

Excellent place for a family. My teenager had his own small room away from us. Super comfy bed, really spacious and nice. Convenient to 2 different transportation lines. Extremely quiet and safe.

Fumika-san is a great host! Very understanding, calm and kind, responds quickly, went to meet and greet us at the bus stop, which was very considerate. Highly recommend the place to anyone! We stayed three nights at Koji-san's home and felt right at home. The place has a lot of space and really nice work station and a really comfy bed. This home is super clean and very well crafted together. There is washer and dryer, fridge and a small pantry area for some snacks. It is set in a quiet neighbourhood yet walking distance to train station and some really cool small local restaurants and bars! There's a gin distillery nearby with food and drinks, a really good local breakfast cafe where you get nice sandwiches and of course family mart for everything else you need. I strongly recommend this home for those who like to have an authentic experience in Tokyo yet having the accessibility to explore beyond!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional Japanese-style home in Kyoto. The house perfectly blended old and new, with charming touches like tatami mats and modern comforts. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was ideal — just a 5-minute walk to Nijo subway station and within 10 minutes of Nijo Castle, one of Kyoto’s main attractions. Our host, Hori-san, was incredibly welcoming and shared great local tips that enriched our trip. She also gave us a warm tour of the house, helping us feel right at home. We highly recommend the ‘Memory Kyoto Bike Tour,’ which starts just five minutes away. We’re so glad we chose this place and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and comfortable stay in Kyoto.

Thank you, Miyuki for hosting us at your beautiful home. I would give it a 6 stars if they have one. Miyuki is an exceptionally kind, responsive , obliging and understanding host. We felt just like we are at home as the place is clean , orderly, quiet and peaceful. We love the voluntary refill bath tub which helps sooth our tired feet at the end of the day. The kitchen is well equiped and we are able to make most of our meals ourselves (being vegan it helps). You can get buses and train easily. the place is close to shopping mart. We would love to come back again if we visit Kyoto.

This place is exactly as all the other five-star reviews describe. The host is considerate, kind, and responsive. The space is quiet yet close to several major stations. The instruction manuals for the indoor equipment are clear and thorough. I can see how much care the host has put into ensuring our comfort through all the thoughtful details. We’ll definitely book here again if we visit Osaka in the future!

Our stay at this place was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect – everything is within easy reach, including Dotonbori and public transportation. The apartment was very clean, well-organized, and spacious. It had everything we needed, including laundry facilities, which were very convenient. A big thank you to our host Bi, who was always kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. We felt truly comfortable and well taken care of. We especially appreciated his help with carrying our luggage. When we’re back in Germany, we’ll fondly remember our time in Osaka.

Number 6 was a great place to stay in Kyoto! Excellent location near public transit and blocks from Nijo Castle, shopping streets and safe and quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable. Recommended!
