Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ühlingen-Birkendorf

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

We had a wonderful time with Daniel and Martin. Everything was perfect - and so we could fully enjoy our little break from the first minute of our arrival. A cozy home with fireplace, sauna, a nice little garden and a great view, a beautiful landscape and hiking trails right outside the front door. The apartment has everything it needs to feel at home immediately. Everything is very tasteful and very lovingly furnished, everything is very clean and well maintained. A big thank you to Martin and Daniel for the uncomplicated communication, the very warm welcome and the many useful pieces of information and tips. A big thank you but also for the very delicious stone oven bread. This is pure hospitality! We are very much looking forward to our next visit with Martin and Daniel, two wonderful hosts.

We were very comfortable with a dog! Especially if you bring more leisure time, you will be well supplied with excursion tips and instructions in the extensive, thought out folder in the apartment. We were able to start spontaneous, small hikes directly from the house. We found that the space on both floors is super smart and pleased to be able to shop directly from producers in the neighborhood on foot. For our purposes, staying at Elena's was just the thing :)

Easy accessible and warn room

The place is large, bright, even prettier in person than in the pictures. The kitchen is very nice and open to the dining area and living room. The bathroom is very large and functional. Our dogs really enjoyed the fenced garden. Peaceful environment, forest accessible on foot and good starting point by car for getaways in the Black Forest. Walter was very responsive to our questions. The only thing to improve would perhaps be to have access to a washing machine for long stays and a welcome booklet.

We had a great time at this place. The space is really generous, with spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms, ideal for hosting a group of people. The location is also very convenient, there are parking spaces available right next door, which is a real asset, especially if you are by car. The host is super friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would 100% recommend!

The apartment is very cute and cosy and had everything I needed. The view from the balcony is magical. Aylin was really helpful and communicative, I would definitely return.

Sybille and Daniel have a perfectly equipped and super functional apartment. Everything is designed for a comfortable stay. The place is peaceful: breakfast in the sun on the balcony, no noise except that of the birds singing. It was a pleasure, really :)

Everything tip top as always I felt like I was at home

I decided on a two-week vacation in my own region. Bathroom renovation was due and family reasons were decisive. I was able to rediscover different things, different perspectives and much more. The apartment was perfect for our family holiday. Right on the first time we entered, the four of us felt comfortable. The kids enjoyed discovering the garden as well as all the games, books as well as the painting and crafts. Bakery, butcher and supermarket are within walking distance, so we were always happy to start the day with fresh delicious rolls. With Malene and Wilfried, you are lucky enough to experience wonderful hosts who leave nothing to be desired and have equipped the apartment with a lot of love for detail. Even before the start of our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with plenty of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutach Gorge, Schluchsee, Rhine Falls, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still be able to see a lot. The Storchenhof is unique, beautiful old buildings, great garden to relax! Watching storks on the roof - great! Bathroom very nice !!! You just feel comfortable!

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

We immediately felt comfortable at the place. We were very warmly welcomed, the apartment is very clean and includes everything needed for a nice holiday. Isolde is a very warm host who is always available for concerns. The apartment is in a very quiet area, great for relaxing. Beautiful hikes are right at your doorstep and Lake Constance is also not far away.

We loved the modern and high tech feel of the place. It was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. It was easy to find and had everything we needed to feel right at home.

The apartment is amazing, very clean, big, fully equipped. Valeria is very nice and friendly person. She helped us with many suggestions and provided a lot of useful information. Schluchsee is the best location for the traveling in Black forest area. Everything is close and very picturesque.
