We had such a great time at this place with my family. Our kids could play outside and we adults had a chance to relax. The whole host family were just lovely. Food was good, we got something for everyone (not an easy task). They helped us with everything we needed and were really flexible.

We spent a wonderful evening at the campsite. Our three kids (7, 5 and 3) absolutely loved it and made some great memories. Everything was well organised! Be prepared with your mosquito spray when sitting outside in the evening but not an issue when sleeping as the mosquito nets provided were effective. Great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the safari as well.

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly

We loved every minute of it. We love the outdoors & were happy to live in nature, with nature. The communal area is relaxed & chilled. Food awesome. This place has mastered living outdoors in a refined way. You have the freedom to mix as much or as little as you choose. Yaz made everything easy. All the staff were friendly & worked hard. We loved sleeping in the Mercedes & sharing with the resident bat, Martin. Look out for the land & water monitors. Seeing an elephant while on canoe safari was awesome. Definitely a place to slow up & relax while in nature.

Words cannot describe this magical place!!!! I didn’t know what to expect and was worried about being in the open around monkeys, bugs etc…… but actually it was relaxing, watching the firefly’s and bats passing through, whilst under my mosquito net, the communal area is just stunning, with soft lighting, terrapins popping out the surrounding water, fire pit cracking and keeping mosquitoes away. The food is good and it’s a really nice place to meet fellow like minded people and play a few card games. We took our 10 year old and was concerned he might be bored with the slow pace of life, but there’s a lot to do from elephant safari to paddle boarding on the lake …… The manager Jas is a very cool, chilled guy …. Best place in Sri Lanka by far!! Thank you for amazing memories

A wonderful stay where you can really switch off and relax. Little to no signal so perfect to put the phone away for a few days and take in the beautiful surrounds. The river excursion was great fun - a picnic by a fast, flowing river where you can jump in for a swim. Probably not suitable for non-confident swimmers, but there is a waterway at the top where you can go for a dip (looked a bit like a canal so we swerved that one!). Loved all the nature and felt very safe. Food was delicious and the dogs are very friendly too. Will definitely be back.
