Go on a discovery trip in bunkers from the Second World War at the abandoned Nes fort, or check out rock carvings within walking distance of the cabin. Nice small beaches, and the possibility of swimming, snorkeling and paddling (if you have your own kayak with you). From the window you can enjoy the view of Reinnesfjellet, a popular place for mountain biking, and Norway's mainland glacier Frostisen. Skjomen is conveniently located, only 25.5 km from Narvik (30 min drive), and Evenes Airport is 84.5 km away (1 h 16 min by car). The nearest store, Coop Extra Ankenes, is 18.6 km away and can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Great scenery, climbing possibilities and hiking terrain. Large terraces, barbecue area and private beach. The fjord is also known for salmon fishing. 20 km. to Stetind, Norways national mountain. There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.

The mountain cabin "Sletn" is located in Sjunkhatten National Park and gives you a unique opportunity to experience the silence, relax or explore the fishing waters and mountain areas around you, summer and winter. There is a short walk, but it is worth the 25-45 minute trip.

Studio apartment with privat entrance

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to supermarket, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light. For almost 3 months we dont have sun. But we have snow - for playing and skiing.
