Vacation rentals with lake access in Twente

This is how you do Air BnB the right way! Having stayed in a number of Air BnB's this is without a doubt up there as the best yet I have been to. Kimmie was extremely welcoming, responsive and helpful, we couldn't have asked for any more from our host. The house was extremely clean and we very much enjoyed the hot tub and bath! The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will be going back soon. Kimmie had kindly set up a safe sleeping cot with appropriate bedding for my daughter along with a high chair and toddler cutlery, it's this attention to detail which made the difference for us. If you are looking for a place to stay on a lovely lake with everything you need, do not hesitate to book!

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

We enjoyed the house and the area at the river. Very good communication with the nice owner also for trouble shooting. Enough space for 5 people however 2 bathrooms would be even better ( there is only a small toilett room on ground level). Would be great to offer a BBQ station. Around the area is still in construction but no disturbance towards the garden river area. We would choose it again. Thanks Leontin & Alex

This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you needed in it. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

The place on the lake was beautiful and we had a great time! Communication with Andreas was straightforward, friendly and fast. The surroundings are beautiful and very relaxing! House was clean and well equipped. We used both the sauna and the canoe (which is available for free) and were delighted with the easy use. Everything worked out wonderfully:) The only drawback may be the direct neighbors (after all, it is a holiday complex) , but they were all very friendly. There were also no problems and we felt very comfortable.

Our stay was really nice. The location of the house is super quiet and beautifully located on the water. The house is very well equipped. Nothing is missing, especially in the kitchen. The rooms are all spacious and the furniture is appropriately selected. Communication went smoothly and quickly. We had a great vacation and would be happy to come back. 😊

I had a fantastic month-long stay at Erik’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a long stay. The location was convenient, the WiFi was reliable, and Erik was a great host - responsive and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! 🙂

Beautiful accommodations in Harderwijk! Would recommend staying here again!

Anne received us very well and responded very quickly to our messages. The accommodation is on a very peaceful street, close to restaurants and small shops if needed. A very pretty village with its beautiful little alleys. Breakfast is exceptional. Special note for orange juice, strawberry jam, and super creamy yogurt. Thanks to Anne for her kind attention and availability.

It was absolutely great to be there! We felt very well looked after and it was uniquely quiet in this central location. The apartment was beautifully furnished and there was nothing missing.

Maurits and his wife are lovely and welcoming people. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Maurits who immediately gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment is located under their detached house on the water which was really great. The space is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. Upon arrival, we were able to enjoy a nice Brabant's sausage roll and a bottle of wine. We quickly felt at home, which is always important to us. The living room is large, large bed nice kitchen and a separate shower room with a washer-dryer. The only thing was that there was only one window where the light could come in. This was no problem for us, especially not because the living space was large and we actually didn't suffer from this. We were allowed to use the jetty and the conservatory overlooking the water. We felt really welcome what a nice side effect of our stay was. We would like to come back in the future.

We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, we immediately felt welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful, cozily furnished and the wood-burning stove provided extra atmosphere and warmth — perfect for a relaxing evening. The surroundings are magnificent, in the middle of nature, ideal for walks and unwind. At the same time, there is plenty to do nearby: nice villages, beautiful routes and activities for everyone. Definitely recommended, we will happy to come back!

Anna's house is a gem! It all looks exactly like the photos and my fiancé and I had a wonderful time there. Everything was very lovingly prepared when we arrived, chocolate and sparkling wine were already waiting for us. The facility is simply fantastic and the two cattle are incredibly cute and curious. We will be happy to come back!

Just perfect for a change of scenery, a lovely tiny historic house, right at the old harbour and between two nice & clean beaches. You can watch the sea whatever you do during your stay - from the terrace, from the living room or even when cooking :) a great location - also to explore the surroundings by bike (two bikes are available). The kitchen equipment is rather simple, but we had all we needed. Joekie is a great host, very kind and responsive, the communication was easy and we felt ike home. A very nice place, highly recommended.

The house is very well located, you can quickly walk everywhere. The location is really perfect, parking right by the house, nice terrace, small sunbathing area. For 6 "tall" people it is a bit small. One of the rooms is quite narrow, ideal for smaller children, a little too cramped from the teenager. There were four of us, including our 2 (rather large) dogs and we felt comfortable. Very good for us in terms of size. Petra is an incredibly nice, caring host. She always strives to make the stay as beautiful as possible for her guests. We will be happy to come back.

Thank you Gerwin. From start to finish the experience was great! Very responsive was really flexible so we could get in a little early for baby’s nap. The house was fab lovely decorated lots of things to do lovely bikes and my son loved the castle bed. The little beach is 5 min walk away and lovely. Very quiet and not touristy at all which was fab. Really would 100% recommend and would love to come back one day. Really fab stay will come for longer next time! Thank you again.

With 4 adults and a dog, we were more than happy. The cottage was well lived in, but is very clean and nicely decorated. The surroundings were perfect for relaxing and the small place was very cute.

A beautiful temporary home away from home! We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Dina's tiny house. It was even more beautiful than expected, completely quiet and private....but with all the amenities we wanted. The sauna was a dream, especially in the cold, wet weather. Dina is a very likeable host and we were very happy to have decided on Ellertshaar. For us, one of the most beautiful Christmas we had. Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!
