Vacation rentals with beach access in Tumaraa

This place was just as advertised; we had a great time! If you are looking for a hopping nightlife and the bustle of town, this rental might not be right for you. If you are looking for a beautiful private secluded beach with easy access to kayak to the motu or snorkel the reef right out your front door, then this is the place for you. We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, visiting the motu, watching the sun set and lightning strike when it was raining, and generally enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty Raiatea has to offer. We rented a car for some of our stay and crused the island to find a short hike here and there and we visited the pearl farm on the other side of the island. I recommend this site without any reservations as long as a quiet get away is your goal.

We were so impressed by the space and location. Mathieu was such a gracious and helpful host. The beach was beautiful, and the location overall was laid back and calm. I recommend having him provide dinner and breakfast for your stay, as there are not very many food options nearby (and if they are they close early) but his dishes are delicious and well worth the price, which is probably the same you’d pay eating out! Overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay on a relatively affordable budget ◡̈

We had an incredible stay in Taha'a! The house is simply superb, spacious, tastefully decorated and perfectly located on the waterfront. Waking up every morning facing the lagoon was such a joy. The setting is peaceful, ideal for recharging your batteries and enjoying the beauty of the island. The welcome was warm and everything was perfectly clean and well-equipped. We recommend this Airbnb without a second thought to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience in Taha'a. Big thanks for a wonderful stay!

Patrice and Sophie are lovely caring hosts. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived on the island thanks to a great welcome. The accommodation is immersed in an idyllic and authentic setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Recommended (and to be repeated!😁) without so much as a second thought! We had such an amazing week with Thierry at Le Noha beach. The bungalow was cozy and just what we wanted. As a family of four, it was a little tight but we didn’t mind one bit! The beach was private and quiet and just beautiful. Mostly though, Thierry was the most incredible host taking Airbnb to the next level. He went out of his way to take us snorkeling, explore local attractions and hikes, and taught our kids to fish. One night we were treated to an incredible meal that he made with the delicious seafood we caught. What a joy to experience Le Noha what Thierry! A trip we will never forget!

Marc picked me up at the harbor and brought me back there on the day of my departure, very nice! He also gave me helpful tips for my activities. You have a breathtaking view from the accommodation and can enjoy great sunsets. However, it is a little out of the way, so a car is recommended. You are really surrounded by nature. Otherwise, the accommodation was clean and had everything as stated in the description. I can recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to experience Raiatea a little off the beaten track and be more in nature.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first. Amazing views of the lagoon. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. You won’t miss staying at a resort if you stay here!

Clement was a wonderful host, meeting us when we arrived and allowing us an early check-in. The house is wonderful and the outdoor space is even better! We were in absolute paradise! We very much hope to be back to Tahaa soon and will definitely stay her again.

Wow!!! The bungalow is excellent. Clean and fresh! Francois and his wife and Juliette welcomed us and were very nice to let us change and then store our luggage as we got in very early. They made us feel special and cared for. The bungalow is well appointed. Bed is comfortable. The air conditioning in the bedroom is perfect. The back deck is perfect for coffee/drinks/dining with a beautiful view of the water. The kitchen had all the items you typically use. The access to multiple, secluded beach spots are just perfect. It was very convenient to have use of 2 bicycles. There is a bridge with access to the water to see the fish and all the unique marine life - stingray, jack fish and crabs. If you like marine life, then this is your place. Easy access by bike to all bars and restaurants near the bungalow. At nights, the sky comes alive with stars and planets. Also the transportation to and from airport shuttle was amazing and included. I would definitely be back.
