Beautiful and relaxing weekend away. The cottage has everything that you need and Sandy was an amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure a magical stay. This was the second time we visited the farm and we will definitely be back again.

Wheat Cabin @ Dassenheuwel Lodge

EsriRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread. We will be back soon!

Tulbagh Mountain Cabin

AvelineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very cute and cosy cottage with the most stunning views. We were 3 adults and a toddler and we really enjoyed our stay. Perfect place if you like the quiet and outdoors. We loved seeing the springbok from afar and the zebra’s, that came to visit us at the cottage. The cottage has all amenities needed for a convenient stay. Only other remark is that the pool area was a bit further away (not walking distance with a toddler) than anticipated, and it’s quite basic. Still enjoyed a nice swim on a hot day. Totally recommend booking this cottage!

Exclusive Mountain Retreat

CarrieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a spectacular setting and gorgeous property! We took our children here for the long Easter weekend and it was such a treat. We did not want to leave. Phil was welcoming and available for questions or if we needed assistance. The views are amazing. The entertainment areas are perfect. We swam and braaied and really recharged. The kitchen is full equipped for regular cooking. The master bedroom is just beautiful and we loved bathing with a view, and looking up at the stars through the glass roof. We started looking at dates to return while we were still there!

False Bay View Cabin

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views. Hennie was a fantastic host who was very flexible and had fast, responsive communication. The cabin was clean, spacious and homely, with an incredible decking with views across False Bay. Around a 30 minute walk to Gordon’s Bay which was convenient, would definitely stay again next time we’re in South Africa!

Luxury Cabin with sauna, cold plunge & epic views.

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful stay. Sauna was hot and cold plunge cold (7-8 degrees C). We loved the outdoor shower. Great view and wifi. Franziska and Will were both super responsive and gave great tips for things to do. We went for a beautiful sunset run on signal hill which Will recommended. Had a nice barbecue on the barbecue. You need to go outside to walk over to the bathroom, but it’s only a few steps.

Mount Liu Sanctuary / Earth Cabin

QueendelineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My stay was absolutely wonderful. The check-in process was smooth and seamless. From the beginning to the end of my stay, Megan maintained excellent communication. She was an absolute delight—warm, attentive and always ready to help. Overall, I had a wonderful two-night stay here and highly recommend this place for relaxation. It’s perfect for unwinding, enjoying a soak in the bathtub, reading a book, and appreciating the charm of this cozy spot. The only negative for me was that the place is close to the road, and as a light sleeper, I found the noise from passing cars a bit disturbing. However, despite that, I still had a restful and enjoyable two night stay. Thank you, Megan, for being such a wonderful host.

Stonewood Mountain Cabin

LilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an incredible stay at Stonewood Cabin! The surroundings are truly beautiful and it is the perfect place to chill out. We stopped for a swim at Tweede Tol on the way which is well worth a visit. We would definitely stay here again, but there are a couple of things to bear in mind if you’re thinking of staying here: 1. The cabin is in a very remote area surrounded by wildlife which is beautiful. But, the baboons were pretty hectic. They damaged two of our cars and repeatedly tried to get into the cabin. We ended up having to keep all of the windows and doors closed at all times which was not ideal on a 35 degree day. 2. Other reviews mentioned the wind but it really is very loud. It’s a good idea to bring ear plugs to help with the noise at night. 3. The drive up is steep and a bit tricky but definitely manageable even with a small car. Overall, a great place to stay but do be prepared to be at one with nature!
