Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tucker County

In my calendar the address came over correct. What the Airbnb email sent was a different incorrect address a full block down the street. Unfortunately I gave the wrong address (provided by AIRBNB) to the group showing up first. They had to hunt for the property based on a picture. Host seems to be unaware of conflicting addresses after bringing it to their attention

Wonderful place and location for a West Virginia get away. Lot's to do in the surrounding area. The house was extremely comfortable and the host has thought of everything. I will definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Oakwood Nature Retreat! The house has incredible character, and learning about its 80s origins and family history was fascinating. Our host was exceptional, providing excellent recommendations for local, family-friendly activities and hikes. The home is beautifully designed, remarkably well-stocked, and has a wonderfully peaceful feel. As a family from the suburbs near the Nation's Capital, we especially appreciated the unique craftsmanship – a welcome change from mass-built housing. It was perfect for our group (family of 5, grandparent, and dog!). We had so much fun exploring the local hikes, restaurants, and coffee shops, and our biking adventure was a highlight. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway!

Excellent accommodations. We were 5 adults, 2 toddlers, an infant and two dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the spacious first floor for their magna-tile and lego projects and the adults were happy at the large dining table. The outdoors were quiet, spacious and plenty of opportunities for the kids to run around. We used this location as a central point for the high peaks hike in MD and WV, an excellent location. Also visited Blackwater Falls and Seneca Rocks - amazing natural wonders. Would definitely rent again if in the area.

I would highly recommend staying here. If I ever come back to the area I would love to book this place again.

The name says it all- it is a crooked house! It was nice that it felt like someone’s real home rather than your typical cheaply and hastily done air bnb. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but was very comfortable for our stay. We could walk to lots of things to do in Davis and our dog enjoyed the small fenced in area. We would definitely stay here again!

Christina's place is an ideal launching pad for skiing / exploring Canaan Valley. We used it as a home base for a weekend at Timberline (10 mins drive). The house is clean and comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood.

Friends and family members rented several cabins at Black Bear for a wonderful weekend! Joan’s description warns that AWD is needed at this time of year—and it is. 🤪. Maintenance at Black Bear was extremely responsive when one of our group had difficulty getting out of the resort due to snow/ice. Nice to have the covered back porch to take off snowy wet clothes/boots.

This was our seventh time staying at the black bear resort, and our first at Kimberly’s cabin. This is the first cabin we have stayed in that has two full bathrooms which is so nice with multiple people staying there. It is obvious, as soon as you walk in the door how much thought and effort Kimberly and jay have put into making this cabin a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience for their guests. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable, and we loved the coffee/hot cocoa bar! They provided great information about things to do in the area, including a list of restaurants. It is beautifully decorated with all the amenities needed for our long weekend. Would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming again!

My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

Great place super close to Timberline, Canaan Valley and Whitegrass. Home is clean and comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen and lots of games and entertainment for bad weather.

Very pleasant little cabin. Fit my family of 5 comfortably with our 3 small kids. Are youngest is 2. Younger than 2 might be a little challenging due to the steep ladder up to the upstair. Worked well for us.

Very comfortable stay in any weather! Got to see the stars and the Milky Way with the naked eye at night right from the deck! Directions made it super easy to find as well.

Beautiful views of the mountains from the condo and the hot tub. Well-designed living space.

We very much enjoyed our time in the house. It was exactly what we needed, a comfortable home in a beautiful setting. The house was stocked with everything we needed for the week. We loved the special touches for our dog and loved that we could bring him on this adventure with us. Location was perfect and not far from Davis and the outdoor adventures we went on.

We had such a great time at this condo! It was the perfect location with its close proximity to the lodge and chair lift. It was so easy for our group to navigate our first visit to Timberline. Laura was a fantastic host that got back to me almost immediately each time I reached out. The condo was cozy, well stocked and worked well for our group of two adults and three boys. We hope to come back in the future.

We had a wonderful weekend! Deerfield 79 was close to all the things we love to do, skiing, eating, drinks and some fun shopping

Everything was seamless! The home was great, clean, cozy and relaxing. Beautiful location.

This was my second time staying here and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. Gorgeous views and so close to the western entrance of Dolly, for the price it's really hard to beat.

This is our third time renting thus house. We love coming back and sharing it with new friends. Alison and her team are great hosts and always make sure we have everything we need - even in the middle of the snowstorm. Highly recommend!

We loved this home! It looks out at a beautiful lake and is surrounded with trees. Very private. The hot tub was fantastic. Looked out on lake as well. We loved loved loved the couches. They were the type that had buttons to position yourself as cozy as you wanted. The wood burning fireplace is wonderful so snuggled on the couch with a blanket in front of the fire reading a book. The best! There are 3 of them so everyone gets their space. We were there during a blizzard but the community plowed very quickly. Connie and Kimberly were the perfect host.
