Luxury Waterfront Getaway In The Smoky Mountains.

A beautiful, peaceful place on the river. The porch was our favorite spot and the big windows viewing the river made us feel like there was no one else around. A wonderful stay inside and out!

A clear creek winds gently through a lush forest, with smooth stones lining its banks. Tall trees provide a verdant canopy overhead, while dappled sunlight filters through the leaves. A small wooden bridge is visible in the distance, enhancing the serene natural landscape.

Rushing Creek Retreat | Serene Cabin w Great Views

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nice relaxing stay for our daughters WCU graduation weekend. We loved the cabin and property. A little word of advice about the driveway though. A VERY steep incline up the side of a mountain and entrance is a little tricky for lower to the ground vehicles. I would advise a pickup truck or suv to come here with. We would definitely stay here again.

A dining area is displayed with a round wooden table set for four, surrounded by black chairs. The floor features a classic black-and-white checkered design. Natural light filters through two windows, offering views of the outdoor forested area. The rustic wooden walls add warmth to the space.

Hibernation Station: Bunk room, 5 minutes to WCU!

Would stay again for quick visits to Sylva/WCU. It was very peaceful and quiet and in a friendly neighborhood just outside of WCU. The place was spacious and nice, and lots of area outside for our small dog.

“Little Black Bear” cabin by the creek

SidneyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
You won't find a better host than Greg. He helped me out when some issues arose without a second thought and is overall just a pleasant person. The cabin is only half an hour from the Smokies and many other hiking and fishing spots. The cabin is small, but has everything anyone could need and is well built. Overall, couldn't have asked for a nicer stay in SW North Carolina.

Modern Mountain Stream Overlook

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great stay in Highlands! A few things to note - the mile drive after you get off the main road is gravel and there’s no service. There was also no Uber/Lyft but we were driving so no issues there. Just a couple things to plan for during your stay! Overall, amazing place, extremely clean, & great communication with host. Would 100% stay here again!
