With so much to keep you busy locally, it is a treat to come back to the Hideaway and feel away from it all!

Ironstone Cottage

Fully self catering, 2 bedroom farm cottage, 1 double bed, 1 king bed/twin, each with en suite bathroom. Plunge pool, firepit, Wifi, aircon, indoor fireplace, barbecue. Linen & towels provided. 4x4 or high clearance strongly advised PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. Electric blankets, blankets, duvets, hot water bottles are provided and each house has a fireplace.

Storms River Tin House

Storms River Village, situated 11km from the Tsitsikamma National Park, is the adventure capital of Tsitsikamma and forms part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. The unique self-catering Tin House is situated in the garden of a private residence with gate access and on-site parking. A stay of at least two nights is recommended, as there is so much to see and do in the area. Perfect for a couple, a small family, or close friends. Free WiFi. From the deck and bedroom you have unsurpassed views of the river as confirmed by numerous reviews. Impala, rooi hartebees, bush buck and nyala freely roam the estate. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
