The area is a great location for watching the Northern Lights and Arctic animals. Here, you can fish in the fjord, which is covered in ice 6 months a year, go hiking in the nearby mountains, or drive into Tromsø, which takes about 30 minutes. In the immediate vicinity you will find hiking/skiing trails, a small hill with ski lift and fjord with rich wildlife. You can enjoy the view of the Northern Lights right outside. Bus stop is outside the door and will take you to the city center or further out into nature.

Elvesus

You live 5 min from the airport and yet in nature. A few meters from the sea and a river running out into the sea here. Around the houses, you can discover shortages of various animals. Reindeer often comes by. Moose can come by a quick trip. Otherwise, otters and weights will run around the houses. In the sea, seals and rare dolphins swim. A superb place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it mirrors in the sea as well. Tromsø city center bus, about 15 min.

If you are looking for a place where you can explore the nature around Tromsø this is perfect for you. You can go directly from the house to the mountain or into the valley of Tromsdalen, this will give you easy access to see the northern lights. It is a few minuts to the bus who takes you to the senter of Tromsø (10-15 min. by bus) and you can also walk (30-40 min)

Free use of washing machine, dryer, hot tub, towels, bed linen, detergents, kitchen and cable TV/Internet 2 bedrooms with double beds for a total of 4 people. Comfortable self-inflating high air mattress (90x200x40cm) for a fifth guest, can be placed in the bedroom or living room. Free parking for one car. Entrance on the backside of the house with stairs up to the apartment.

Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.
