Breakfast with Dinky Donkeys.

LucyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Went here with my 9-year old son and we had the best time. Carl and Jane were just lovely and couldn’t have done more for us and it was really special for us to be so close to the beautiful Ava & Molly. Can’t recommend this enough for anyone with an interest in donkeys or who is just looking for something a bit special to do.

Big Barn

As soon as my mum and I arrived at Little Owl, we were very impressed by the layout and ‘feel at home’ vibe. There was an issue in the evening regarding the television in the living room not working and they came straight away to sort it out. Very impressed and lovely people. Mum has already recommended the accommodation to her friends and I hope to come back again with my husband next year potentially.

If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it. Absolutely fantastic stay, immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. What a wonderful place to stay, the hut is brand new and so comfortable and clean. Jo and Richard made us very welcome and the fizz and goodies were a lovely touch. There is a private garden, we had great weather so enjoyed sitting outside listening to the birds. the bees knees pub did really good food and the staff are very friendly. also the ferryboat inn was good for lunch and a short walk away. we would love to return.

Wetlands Eco Lodge

CatherineRating, 5 starstoday
We loved our stay at the eco-lodge. It was very peaceful, in beautiful surroundings with walks from the doorstep. The Lodge had everything needed for a comfortable stay, especially all the different outdoor spaces and we had beautiful weather to enjoy them. It was lovely to receive a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits! The local pub, The Bluebell Inn, is just 15 mins walk away in the pretty village of Lound. Retford is very close by for shopping. Richard was very helpful and quick to respond to all our messages. Thank you for a wonderful few days. We hope to visit again!

18th century lock keepers cottage

AmyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This cottage is one of the best air bnbs I have ever stayed in. Such a beautiful tranquil place. If you’re looking for a nice relaxed break this is your place. We were lucky enough to have great weather so we were able to enjoy the garden, I loved sitting on the decking listening to the stream with a glass of wine. There is also a really nice walk along the canal and into the woods, which I did most evenings, my dogs loved it. Inside the cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean and well maintained. The bed and sofas were really comfortable. I don’t have a bad word to say about my trip, wish we booked for longer!
