Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

Enjoy a quiet getaway in the Wexford countryside in this old 1800s stone building which includes a private ornamental garden to relax in. The building was used as a milking parlour and hay storage through much of the 1900s. .Wexford town 10 minutes . Johnson Castle 5 minutes. . Rosslare Harbour 15 minutes. Kilmore quay 20 minutes. We have enjoyed special Christmas gatherings and spent long summer holidays enjoying the spectacular beaches in the area including the one at the bottom of the garden!
