What an interesting and quirky place to stay! If you want to step back in time with modern amenities then this is the place for you. Cygnet Thatch has a fantastically well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and a huge log fire. A great find:)

What can I say about this wonderfully quaint and quirky cottage that hasn't already been written? Probably nothing, but once you've picked your jaw up off the floor it's impossible to not be totally besotted by this hidden gem nestled in the heart of the English countryside, the pictures really don't do it justice. Our initial exploration of the spotless interior was way beyond our expectations, it's simply stunning and is the perfect blend of old and new. Everything we needed was provided and the comprehensive notes provided by Sue were more than adequate in providing clear directions and instructions for the various appliances, etc. Our stay surpassed our expectations in every way possible, if you've ever wanted to stay in an authentic cottage with a truly spectacular garden and doorstep access to to miles of public walkways look no further. Finally, a huge thinks to our wonderfully responsive host Sue for offering this property on Airbnb, very, very highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights for us was the enclosed garden—it was perfect for our three dogs to run around safely and enjoy themselves. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they had space to play as a lot of places advertise the garden as enclosed but they rarely are. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the hosts were welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets or just looking for a peaceful getaway!

I stayed at this property for two nights with 3 friends for a commercial filming project for my beauty brand. The pool area is a fabulous filming spot, the pool is heated so can be used from morning to night. We made use of the tennis courts, which was great fun and we loved listening to the noises from the duck pond. The barn all amenities and lots of games available to play too when chilling late at night. Great all round fabulous stay.

Absolutely beautiful—both the house and the surroundings! To stay in such a remarkable, comfortable, clean and beautiful, old place right in the heart of the cotswolds—it was truly lovely. So peaceful and quiet! Rachel was a kind and helpful host right next door. Make sure you pay good attention to her directions to get there—it was a little tricky. Also, the ceilings in the bathroom, living room and dining room really are only about 6 feet, with doorways and other things even shorter. We’re tall and we still loved it but it’s definitely something to keep in mind. The kitchen and bedrooms were all much taller. We’d love to return one day and stay again!!! Thanks you!

We had a lovely break here whilst visiting family nearby, Stuart was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was provided, absolutely gorgeous area and all round welcoming atmosphere. Stuart even kindly installed WiFi for us- as signal is hit and miss in the area. Very clean Caravan as well and well equipped. Really lovely stay. Extremely pristine and private airbnb, perfect for dogs and so peaceful! If your only knowledge of the English countryside is from romantic movies, then this is pretty much 100% as dreamy as you would hope. Angela was always available and responded in an extremely timely manner. We have stayed in many places that claim the pool is heated only to be disappointed. This pool was so warm we could swim in 18c weather on a cloudy day. We loved everything about our stay and the kitchen is very generously stocked with knives, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, etc. We could not recommend this airbnb and the hosts enough! The neighbours are also so kind and warm and even suggested walking routes for us and the dog. Don’t hesitate and book in now!

We had the best time, the pool is amazing!! The time slots were ideal and work really well- great pool for adults and children. Beautiful cottage, lovely gardens-we felt so at home, nothing was too much trouble for Bridget. The children have now also found a new love for tennis! We def hope to return … 10 out of 10 from us!!

We’ve just got home from our stay and I must admit we’ve never stayed on a complex like this before. However we fancied something different, booked very last minute and it didn’t disappoint. It had everything you needed, good size, and great outdoor space with a gorgeous hot tub and the weather was perfect. On site you have the additional facilities, the lakes for lovely walks and we couldn’t resist the crazy golf. We were also very lucky to make some duck friends who made the stay even more perfect. We will definitely come back and stay here.

This was my second time staying here. It's a lovely little apartment, feels really homely. Perfectly clean and has everything you could need. The apartment is very easy to find and check-in to. Adam is a great host, very friendly and fast to respond to messages, he goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I will definitely be staying again!

We had a lovely stay at Olivia’s place. It was clean, quiet and in beautiful surroundings. The apple juice and eggs were a nice touch and Olivia and her family welcomed us personally. Overall a very enjoyable stay, thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at "Bonny Doon" ! Faye was absolutely lovely, constantly responding to messages and just all-round being an amazing host for me and my partner. The listing was exactly as described and looked just like photos, if not better in person ! We adored the cinema-like projector and surround sound which we used non-stop on our stay. The garden was spacious and beautiful, and we enjoyed wandering down throughout our stay to see the local wildlife. We will definitely be staying again and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Northamptonshire area !! Thank you for such a wonderful few days away !

we stayed here for a couple of days whilst catching up with some friends. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds very comfy! Sarah is very responsive to messages and goes above and beyond - there were little treats for the kids and even the dog. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend and stay again when heading back to the area.

The perfect little spot for a one night getaway. It’s an annex but still feels entirely private. Everything has been done to a high standard and spec, shower in particular was great! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Gyles’s cottage is an absolute gem. It is beautifully decorated, has great amenities and in a gorgeous setting. They left a really handy booklet about things in the local area and even marked routes on the local OS map. We would highly recommend staying here and will be booking again for a visit next year.
