Simply spectacular!!! Staying on the 11th floor overlooking Quetzaltenango City, something you don't do every day. The place is impeccable, just like the photos and much better. Really, really well-equipped, it's definitely a 10/10 without a doubt. There is no doubt to take it, in addition to the location, it is a new building and the apartment has a lot of effort and dedication. I don't hesitate at all to recommend it.

Carlos is an extremely friendly and responsive host who lives on the property in a separate fully contained unit. His motto," Mi casa es tu casa" is evident in all the interactions. He provides eggs from his 14 chickens to start your day. The main house that you stay in has two bedrooms with queen size beds that are comfortable. There are two lofts with steep ladders that could accommodate more but we did not use. There is another attached unit with a queen sized bed and kitchen but we did not use them. The kitchen has all the utensils you need but could be organized a little better as it feels a little cluttered. There is a water filtration system in the house for your drinking water. We had ample hot water for showers but not in the sink in the bathroom. The area feels very safe and for Pana is relatively quiet except for occasional barking dogs. The house has a lovely garden that Carlos takes a lot of pride in and is frequently watering. Overall, it provides a good value..

A stunning, magical Airbnb and also where my fiance PROPOSED TO ME! Clearly, Mikael's Casa Cielo will always have a special place in my heart. The house is just like everything that was described in the description and you are well taken care of from A-Z during the stay. Miguel-Lukas, the landkeeper, and Mikael made my fiance's proposal vision come true! We greatly appreciate everyone who was involved in this process. One thing to note is the hike is a real hike (we both work out 2-3 times a week and definitely felt it every single time we return to the house), so make sure you have everything you need before heading up and certainly make use of the delivery opportunity! I strongly recommend Casa Cielo for anyone who is looking for a beautiful, special getaway!

We had a great stay at Augustus’ place. Taking the path along the water, it’s 5 min walk to the main pedestrian street of San Marcos. Place was spotless, and the view and entryway patio is awesome. There were some water issues of first days, heat and pressure, we let Augustus know and he was able to resolve quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! The hosts always gave their best and have amenities that other accommodations don't offer. Very quiet area, accessible to the shopping mall and central to go anywhere. The best!!!

This was an excellent option for staying in San Marcos. Walkable to everything yet private and serene. Apartment was spotless and the filtered water direct from the tap was definitely a highlight!
