My stay was excellent. Everything was very clean, the location is ideal and safe, with easy access to everything. The neighborhood is very quiet, perfect for rest. Communication with the host was always quick and clear. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

We had an exceptional two-night stay with family (with my wife and three daughters). This is probably one of our best Airbnb experiences! The place, a little off the beaten track, is a real gem. We discover magnificent nature: a lush forest, a beautiful waterfall, superb animals and very good restaurants nearby. The location is also ideal for those who want to reach Tortuguero or Cahuita easily. Meals and breakfast are excellent, made with care and taste. A real plus! A huge thank you to Laura, who is an extremely attentive, warm and available host. It was a real pleasure. We recommend this place without a second thought!

Great place to stay. Access is easy and the house is very comfortable. I loved how private it is.

A well-appointed cottage. The kitchen has everything for self-catering. Two bedrooms are a plus. It was difficult to locate thanks to G@@gle Maps and Waze errors. I would not want to be looking for it in the dark. Jorge got us there. Peaceful rural location, close enough to town for provisions. I missed the fact that there was no hot water so we used the kettle when we needed some. Not a big problem. The shower head looks like it might heat water but we didn’t try it. I would stay there again.

The stay at David's house was great and super spacious and has a beautiful decoration! They are two very well equipped houses. Only that decoration goes the light often. But it's something from the place of guapiles. The grill is outside the house. David was a friendly and very helpful host. And best of all, they accept pets.

Perfect place to enjoy with your family far from the noise and pollution of the city. Road is in good condition, not asphalted but drivable. Dogs loved running all over the place, the electric car was charged with the 110 v outlet in the porch and there is a clear water river just in 20 min walking.

The place was as advertised. It's a small and private place, perfect for couples. The pool was excellent, the recommended waterfalls are a must, as they are beautiful and equally very relaxing. My wife and I visited Figues, where the owner and his wife are very friendly. César was very friendly, communicative and always ready for whatever was needed, and to make our experience as pleasant as possible. The second night we used the fire pit, and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and every morning you wake up to the sound of birds, of which there are many and varied species in the area. We had a great time, thanks Cesar!

It is 6 minutes from the main highway, with good access, it also has a supermarket 5 minutes away which makes it ideal, it has an excellent parking space and security throughout the property The pool and grill area is a terrace that is undoubtedly very comfortable to enjoy with family or friends. The place is well equipped with all the equipment, technological appliances that make the stay very comfortable. Access to the river within the property is very easy; and the road has very clear signs and indications. The fauna and flora that the place has is a beauty that characterizes the connection of the place Without a doubt, Lorena's assertive communication makes the stay very pleasant and you don't have any difficulties. It is undoubtedly a HIDDEN GEM, and it would be a pleasure to visit it again. ✨

We stayed at this location for one night as a pit stop between San Jose and Puerto Viejo. It was exactly what we needed. A beautiful oasis that was perfect for my family’s first night ever in Costa Rica. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and river after a very long day of travel. The coconuts brought to us were a wonderful bonus. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you Yorleny!!

A very quiet place to enjoy as a family with all amenities, excellent to go with pets since there is a lot of space, the host is always attentive and friendly, in end everything is very good.

Great place to stay. Katherine was very responsive and did all the arrangements before we arrive. People were waiting for us at the dock, very welcoming and took us to get home. Very Nice and cleaned home.

Perfect! The room was much bigger than expected. Fantastic view, quiet location and yet central.

Allan's home was a perfect place for us to stay while in Tortuguero. He was a very responsive host and the location was great. Nothing is far in Tortuguero. Clean and comfortable with a fully shaded patio which was SO welcomed during the heat of the day. Would book again for any future trip.

Excellent location, excellent house. With 3 large bedrooms, two bathrooms, quiet and at the same time close to everything.

Heidy's place is a perfectly located, cosy spot from which to explore Tortuguero, relax and go to the beach. Less than five minutes walk to centre of town and boat drop off and pick up place, at one end of the street and beach at the other. It is also very quiet and private, we enjoyed using the patio for quiet meals or drinks. The beach is beautiful and their was a sloth one night in a coconut tree on the beach. Heidy had arranged for us to be met when we stepped off the boat and a local guide showed us to the flat. Heidy was always super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Please note there is no air-conditioning or hot water in the shower, but that didn't bother us, the fan kept us cool at night. I would love to come back to Tortuguero and hope to stay at Heidy's again.
