I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

Everything went beautifully. The house is everything we needed, the space around it invites you to rest and enjoy nature, and Maria do Rosário was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. If we have the opportunity, we will certainly be back!

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Hello Mr. Pedro! We wanted to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well-maintained and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to take our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. Would come back. Hostess spoilt us with delicious cherries, fresh eggs and a welcome pack. The pool area was lovely and we had such an enjoyable week in a lovely villa.

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

Very pleasant and quiet accommodation located in the small alleys of the village of ferro at equal distance from the towns of covilha and fundao which offer an important choice of shops and supermarkets . Which is convenient for a long stay. For troubleshooting ferro has two grocery stores located near the property , a little visible close to the square that is near the house. Also nearby is a bakery where there are several varieties of breads and cakes that also make coffee with very friendly employees and open to discussion. We really appreciated the tranquility of the place(narrow streets = no car noise) no noise from neighbors; the night walks in the village cool on hot days. We found the house very clean as described and well equipped with the essentials for four people. The only downside is the slightly dark kitchen. Thanks to Teresa for the restaura

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Alexandra has a very comfortable, clean, and inviting home. She was there for a meet and greet. The place is nestled in the mountains, the lodging offered the rustic charm and comfort; the best part was the cherry tree in the back yard, the host was so kind and at night our family picking directly from the tree - my 6 old son loved it!

The house was very clean and corresponds exactly to what is shown in the listing and photographs. Communication with Inês was always quick and effective. Check-in is simple, fast and autonomous. Check-out until 10 p.m. is a great bonus. The location is good, in a calm and quiet area. Very positive experience, I recommend it!

Perfect stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Vela. Antonio and Mrs Augusta are great hosts. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

It was only a one-night stay, but the space is very cozy, impeccably arranged and decorated. Immaculate cleanliness. The contact with Andreia was not in person only because of me due to the late arrival time and also very early departure time. Contact is always very easy and fast, whether by phone, messaging app (...) and even through the Airbnb app. An excellent place to discover the Serra da Estrela. I recommend it 100%.

We really enjoyed staying at D.'s house. Maria, because in addition to being well located, it matched what we wanted. Our kids loved sleeping in the attic. We hope to come back in the near future. Thank you so much for everything in advance!!!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Perfect home to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You just have to do a little grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even feels like ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and made us feel free to reach out whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

It is a wonderful space to enjoy as a family. Well-equipped kitchen. House with entertainment for children. A good barbecue area. The nature around the accommodation is amazing. A true refuge.
