Cynthia and her team were amazing. From the moment we booked until we left, the communication was prompt and helpful. The place is Heaven on Earth! The views are amazing and very private. There are gorgeous paths on the property with exotic plants and wildlife. The hosts have everything you will need, including aloe for sunburns, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, towels, coolers, etc. This is probably the nicest and most well appointed rental we have stayed in. The location is quiet and only a short drive to restaurants, the market, marina, beaches and hikes. However, being at the far end of the island, everything is scaled down and there are fewer people. We found uninhabited beaches and some of the best hiking ever. If you don't like crowds, this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Owners were super nice and easy to work with! Caretakers, Joe and Sally couldn't have been more helpful. My family would love to return to this special house!

A lovely week for our family vacation to St John! Fair Winds is very private, cozy, and comfortable. The VIEW IS AMAZING. We stargazed every night and felt the trade winds cool us off after an outdoor shower in paradise. The kids loved staying in the guest house while us parents stayed in the main house bedroom. Thank you, Margaret for meeting us in Coral Bay and leading us up the mountain so we knew exactly where to go!

Our stay at Stonehenge Cottage checked all the boxes - perfect location, beautiful surroundings, plenty of room for 5 adults, comfortable beds, and lots of amenities. The place is close to restaurants in Cruz Bay and there are 3 markets to pick up groceries and fresh fish for cooking at home. It is also close to the hiking trails and beaches on the south side of the island which are less populated and provide great snorkeling.

We enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds. We especially liked the beautiful view,the hot tub and outdoor shower, and waking up every morning to the sunrise view in front of us. The house was very private,and we appreciated the town of Coral Bay, much quieter and less built up than Cruz Bay. At night the view of the stars from the deck was incredible. The drive to the house is not for the faint of heart, we appreciated Margaret showing us the way the first time up, and we got used to it as the week went on. St John is so beautiful. We had a great week here celebrating our 25th anniversary!

Lynn’s place was perfect for us as 2 couples visiting St. John. Close to everything and with beautiful views, we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was also really well-equipped which was much appreciated!

I absolutely adored my stay at Bon Bini. This was my 5th on island and this is by far my best experience because of this cottage. I loved walking out every morning to the view and hearing the lively animals. Seeing the donkeys, goats, chickens. Location is nearby many of the best beaches and not too far from town. The drive up hill to find the place was intimidating but Emily gave awesome instructions and got easy. This place feels magical and would love to stay here every time.

We enjoyed our visit to StJohn Island and especially the East side and beaches and beauty and peace! The cottage is so cute and the deck was nice to enjoy the champagne that she left for us!! So sweet! The bed is incredibly comfortable and the linens were so nice and soft also!! We are particular about beds and this one was one of the most comfortable ever! The pool was a little hidden gem and a nice spot to hang out. Thanks so much for the communications and kindness - we appreciated your hospitality !

Great eco-friendly glamping. We stayed in a concrete yurt that was beautiful listening to the waves all night long.

First I have to say both Maria and Chloe were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond for me and my godmother. The cottage was absolutely adorable and perfect for two people. Very clean and homey. We loved it! The surrounding view of St. Thomas by the private pool was absolutely beautiful. You could even see the view from inside the cottage. What a amazing experience. The cottage is hands down my go too when I visit St. Thomas.

We had a blast at the cottage. We slept upstairs and my 7 yr olds stayed downstairs which worked out well to have our separate spaces. Views every morning were incredible and the breeze kept any bugs away. Location was 35 min from Cruz Bay but the privacy and seclusion was exactly what we wanted. We’ll be back

White Bay Villas cottages are just a slice of paradise. The view is the "wow" factor, however the cottage is more spacious than even the pictures do justice with a nice little separate living room and a small galley kitchen that has everything you need. The location is very private...a very manageable 4-5 minute footpath winds down to the private beach at east end of White Bay. You cannot leave a car immediately at the cottage...I was there without a car and any number of local drivers can pick you up very quickly...I think Jost Van Dyke is fine without a rental car FWIW due to the friendly and responsive taxis.

We had an incredible stay at this St. John gem! If you're looking for a private, authentic island experience, this is it. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making us feel right at home. The house itself is a charming rustic island home with breathtaking views. We loved having two separate living spaces, perfect for our group of two couples. The provided coolers, chairs, and floaties were a fantastic bonus, and we truly felt like we were living like locals. Plus, it was wonderfully affordable for all the amenities and views. Highly recommend!

Incredible energy, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and secluded from the rest of the world. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to escape on a small island, look no further. Grab a golf cart from Rachel’s rentals and enjoy the freedom of exploring water island! Ingrid was a delight in helping us with anything we needed. Everyone that was working/staying on the property was like minded and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back:)

St. Thomas was great but meeting Mida was my favorite part of the trip. She did more than she was suppose to do. Her personality was a true blessing during this trip. If you guys have de opportunity to book with her, don’t think it twice. After that trip I won a mom in st. Thomas.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! Perfect getaway for my wife and I on the quieter side of the Island. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy Jewels View next time we visit St. John…. Excellent communication/responsiveness with host and very eager to help during your stay.

Where to begin? Saj and Stuart's place was extremely comfortable, well appointed, located near 2 amazing bays with outstanding vistas of turquoise waters, spectacular sunsets, nearby islands. Saj was so responsive, caring and accomodating and her gardens are gorgeous. This was by far the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed in and a true bargain at the price. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended but we mostly made do walking, hitching and hiring taxis. If its available, snap it up!

The property is comprised of two buildings, each with two rental spaces. Each space has a private patio. The property itself is beautiful with plenty of sun. The beach, while not visible, is a short walk across the street and down a narrow path. It's close enough that the waves can be heard from the villas. Our rental was clean and spacious, perfect for 2-4 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Prior to our arrival we were able to place a provisioning order with a local supermarket Our order had been placed in the fridge for us. The bathroom is clean and modern, aside from the hot water, which must be turned on about 20m prior to use. Also included with the rental were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. The property is centrally located in Cane Garden Bay, near restaurants and the supermarket. We recommend renting a car if you plan on exploring the island, as taxis are expensive and not always available. You cannot go wrong with this property!

The cottage was clean and very convenient to Cane Garden Bay, less than 5 minute walk to beaches and restaurants. It also had easy parking which was great for going out for day trips. Beach towels, chairs and umbrella provided. We did not cook but the kitchen was well stocked for making meals. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our time at New Moon Escape. We live in a large city so we look for remote locations when traveling, this was about 10 minutes to stores etc, but felt a world away from any hustle or bustle. As others have mentioned - YOU NEED A JEEP. The outdoor shower was clutch for washing off all the beach sand and was one of my favorite features, while my husband enjoyed reading in the hammock amongst the trees. So fun to poke around the property and learn about the flora and fauna. We are big cooks so chose to eat-in, and were happy to find Calabash Market for our grocery needs just south of Coral Bay - an excellently curated store. Kitchen was light on pantry staples (a small bottle of olive oil, salt + pepper), but I pre-packed some blends from home. Grill was clean, and kitchenwares met our needs. Beach towels and chairs were a nice add, both cooler options were a tad wonky tho, and we couldn’t find any snorkeling gear which I thought was listed. Overall, we adored our time here!

A wonderful location located perfectly just far enough away from the restaurants for quiet sleeping, but 2 minutes to walk down the beach for easy eating. Not to mention that Indigo restaurant was the other direction just 1 minute walk away. Peaceful, right across from the beach, close to restaurants and small grocery store - all walking distance. And the parking on-site is such a bonus! Would highly recommend!

Hannah is a star! When infrastructure issues came up, as they will in a tropical location (and also in the big mainland city where we live) , she was a source of current local information. She was very responsive and supportive. The place needs a refresh (towels, frying pans, wonky curtain rod, uncomfortable sectional) and is apparently getting that, so yay for that. I hope they don’t touch that broom though. Handmade wood handle from a branch. The view needs no refresh. If you happen to wake up at 1am or whatever, slide the doors back and go out on deck. The Milky Way reaches across the sky, a river of stars. Kitchen fine for cooking meals when you want a break from restaurant food. The drive there is hair-raising, and kind of scary and fun. Follow Hannah’s instructions. Highly recommended if you like comfort and quiet with a touch of the rustic.

The scenery was beautiful. Amazing views from the pool as well as the screened in porch. We also could hear goats, birds, chickens, in the distance which was very peaceful. The guidebook provided was very helpful and we were close to several beaches and hikes we wanted to go to. There were plenty of towels and they had some beach items (chairs cooler, canaopy, toys etc ) that were greatly appreciated. The hosts were great. They were very timely and accommodating with their messages and they are very passionate about St. John. We had a small issue with the lock on the door that they had fixed the next day. Excellent hosts excellent air bnb. We would love to return.
