Great apartment - almost with house character on 2 floors. Modern but cozy, furnished - with extensive equipment in the kitchen, washing machine, dryer, clothes rack. No wifi, but this is almost an advantage in the description and given the magnificent view. The landlady, Trine, always responded promptly to all inquiries. Overall a cozy top accommodation. Feel free to come back anytime.

Clear communication with Kirsten and check in was contactless and smooth. Everything in the apartment was very practical and thoughtful, the shoe dryer was a huge plus. Massive bathroom with squeaky clean floor and surfaces. The bed was firm and comfortable with large fluffy pillows to rest your sore muscles after a hike. Highly recommend to stay here 👍🏻

Lovely spot, very large for just the one person I was. Solid central base for many of the fine Senja hikes and catch up on my reading. Good kitchen which I used every evening for my ‘fine dining’ Nice to have washing machine and dryer as well. Beautiful views from the house across the Fjord and towards Segla mountain. Responsive host and yummie chocolates as a welcome gift.

Great house at a very nice place. The house has everything you need and is very spacious. We would recommend staying here if you are looking for a central place at Vesteralen.

It was an amazing place to stay. The house itself was beautiful and felt very homey! Sommaroy was amazing and there was great scenery. We loved our stay here, just wished it was longer.

This house had everything that I needed during my stay in Fjordgard. At the top of the list is the location - just down the street from the Segla/Hestin trailhead and a nice view of the Fjord. The house had WAY more than I needed, from the multiple bedrooms to the large living room with tons of seating, to the well equipped kitchen to a variety of soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. I would give this home a 10 out of 5....very highly recommended if you are in Fjordgard or Senja! :)

Spacious rooms - we were 4 adults, and had plenty of room. Delicate bathroom, large and practical kitchen. Free parking just outside the door. Beautiful surroundings with sandy beach in the immediate vicinity. Short distance to shops and the city center. We really enjoyed our stay at Kathrine's. Thanks for us!:)

June is a fabulous hostess! We stayed here for a business trip for my husband for 7 weeks. The apartment is beautiful, large, very comfortable. We call it "The Palace". She was very flexible and was able to let us stay longer than originally planned. She even drove us to the airport on the day we left so we didn't need to rent a car for the last few days. Very gracious and gave personal attention. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.
