We had a very nice one week stay at the tiny house. From the sofa bed you have a very beautiful view of nature and with a little luck can also marvel at the northern lights. Roland was always easy to reach and regularly cleared the driveway because of the strong snowfall.

Such a warm friendly welcome from our hostess. A lovely spacious apartment right on the beach and with an awesome mountain view. We saw sea eagles regularly and reindeer in the garden on our last day. I would love to come back here one day and would recommend this apartment to everyone.

The place was fantastic and the views simply unforgettable! The apartment was superbly equipped, also for cooking and baking. A parking space was available right outside the front door and Kirsten was always easily accessible. The check-in was super flexible without contact and checking out was also easy. Glad to come back!

Fantastic stay and beautiful property. About 1 hour drive from Tromso on easy roads through amazing scenery. The house is on the beach and surrounded by good walks. It’s about 5 minutes drive from Somarroy, and 10 minutes from the ferry to Senja and a local shop selling most supplies needed.

Words will never make justice to what we felt at this house. When we saw Bergsfjorden from the upper part of the road, we understood where we were landing. This place is magical. Inside and outside. The bad part was packing and leaving those windows full of joy behind.

Our stay with Odd-Geir was truly fantastic! The house was cozy and made us feel like we were right in the heart of the Arctic. We enjoyed the grill house and the sauna—both added a special touch to our experience. Odd-Geir lent us his car during our stay, which was incredibly helpful. One of the highlights was going fishing with him on his boat—an unforgettable adventure! He’s a genuine host who absolutely enhanced our experience in Tromvik. Highly recommended!

Coming to ski in Senja, we had a great week at 4 in this house. Beautiful views of the sea and surrounding nature, walk on the beach, cozy accommodation, good kitchen amenities. Erlend was very responsive and pleasant. Strategic location on the island for ski touring. Possibilities with a little patience to make a traditional sauna (wood-fired). Perfect for exploring this wild island!

We stayed at Cecile's house for 5 nights. Everything was perfect. From Tromsö you drive about 1 hour (in snow and dark a little longer), but the drive offers countless opportunities to see northern lights or wild animals.. The island of Sommaroy is beautiful, the house has a great location. The equipment of the kitchen is very complete, Cecile is a very caring host and even shopped for us. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this house! Everything was very clean and very well designed. The view towards the ocean and the mountains was amazing! Great apartment - almost with house character on 2 floors. Modern but cozy, furnished - with extensive equipment in the kitchen, washing machine, dryer, clothes rack. No wifi, but this is almost an advantage in the description and given the magnificent view. The landlady, Trine, always responded promptly to all inquiries. Overall a cozy top accommodation. Feel free to come back anytime.

Elisabeth is a very nice host, proactive and super welcoming ! Be sure that you will have all the attentions necessary to enjoy your stay more than expected (local recommendations, regular message with weather update before and during your stay). The house is fully equipped and very cosy so that you can spent cosy days inside when the weather in Senja is not the most beautiful :) I can only recommend at 100% !!

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic view, quiet and relaxing by the sea

Anne’s place is the dream Airbnb everyone would like to stay at. Truly, if you are coming to the Tromso region and are comfortable with driving a car in snowy/a bit icy conditions, CHOOSE HERE. Anne and Steinar are so kind and accommodating. The Airbnb looks 1000% better than the beauty already shown on the listing - I simply was not expecting how spacious it is and how breathtaking the views from the balcony is. We were 4 people and the 3 bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen and utensils cabine has everything you need - we didn’t eat out at all during our one week stay here. The best part? INCREDIBLE northern lights show at your own balcony. We were lucky enough to catch it twice during six days, and it was so comfortable just being on the balcony and seeing the lights dance. If you want and have non slippery shoes, you can also just go to the front and side of the house to watch the magic unfold. It really is breathtaking. Thanks Anne, we will come back :)

Had a great stay at Vidar and Berit's place! The small house is right on the fjord. Our highlight: humpback whales that swam right in front of the window. The house has enough space for 4 people with enough retreat space. In the kitchen there is everything you need for more elaborate dishes. As a ski tour accommodation, it was perfect for us to get anywhere on Senja. We would always come back!
