Family-friendly vacation rentals in Senja

The house is perfect for a relaxing vacation. We used the optional sauna and the snow shoes and had wonderful time. Our host was Neo who is a very nice and caring person. We can recommend the Jaeger Adventure Camp very much!

The house of Trond was perfect ! Many activities were possible at Jaeger Adventure Camp (Check it on internet). We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host's friendliness, flexibility, and attention to detail made our experience truly exceptional. The surrounding nature, especially the stunning fjord, added a breathtaking backdrop to our trip. Highly recommend!

Elisabeth is a very nice host, proactive and super welcoming ! Be sure that you will have all the attentions necessary to enjoy your stay more than expected (local recommendations, regular message with weather update before and during your stay). The house is fully equipped and very cosy so that you can spent cosy days inside when the weather in Senja is not the most beautiful :) I can only recommend at 100% !!

We were welcome like at home! The night at the grill hut was very nice and the surroundings are beautiful!

Delightful little house right on the coast with amazing sea views and iconic Mount Segla/Hesten. Liz sent us detailed information in advance and even during our stay she was very helpful with the local information. Even in winter, we parked right in front of the house, even though the weather was very winter. The house is sensitively renovated, so it did not lose anything from the beautiful, cozy atmosphere. The three floors connected by stairs was very comfortable for 6 people. Two toilets on the ground floor, a spacious living area with kitchen on the first floor and in the loft three bedrooms. Everything is well-equipped, both the rooms and the kitchen where we cooked (I caught the cod!). The possibility of heating the stove adds romance to the stay, but you must bring wood. But otherwise the property is heated, so it's not a necessity. Considering the view from the dining table, I consider the TV to be unnecessary, which we haven't used once. :-) I'd love to come back to this place again.

We spent 5 days in this old house in the middle of the village in a fantastic landscape. Everything was prepared for us, the house was warm, cozy and we felt comfortable. Thank you Jack!

We really enjoyed our stay in Skatvik! The house was cozy & charming, it had a balcony with a view to the sea and a wood-burning stove + several electric heaters to keep the hikers and their gear warm and dry! The surroundings (and the whole island of Senja) were beautiful and peaceful. There's an abundance of hiking paths from which to choose on the island of Senja and a few trails can be found very close to the house. We also really appreciated the possibility to use a boat both on the sea and on the nearby lake. There's plenty of fish to catch for those interested in fishing!

We felt very comfortable in the lovingly furnished old house on the Kattfjord and enjoyed the magnificent views of mountains and water. From the kitchen table we could watch the northern lights! The electric heating worked well, shower, kitchen all fine! We used TV as a radio. The 2 pairs of snowshoes were very useful because there had been almost 1 meter of fresh snow in our week - a picture book landscape! The landlord was very friendly and helpful.

Great place, easy to find and with all the amenities

Eirik is very responsive and gave us helpful suggestions about hikes and places to see aroung. He welcomed us at the time of check in. The house is conveniently located and has beautiful views; we stayed for one night and it had everything that we needed. Would recommend his place to any other couple visiting Senja!

Perfect place to stay after a long day of wet cold hiking! Very comfortable, warm, and dry. The shower was amazing! Great place to stay before catching the am ferry to Adenes! The knives were so sharp which we haven't found much in Airbnb's! This would be an ideal fishing cabin!

A really nice and cosy house by the sea, which has a very personal touch as a lot of the interior is still original from the parents of the host. It is therefore "vintage" in the very original way. The hosts live close by and provided a very friendly introduction. House and sea are separated by a road, but with very little traffic.

What a fantastic time I had at this Airbnb. The location is nothing short of magical, a true winter wonderland. Private, silent and beautiful. Spending the nights standing in the snow illuminated by the waxing moon with stunning Aurora displays above all 4 nights. If you're looking to explore Senja this is the place to stay. Tommy is an incredibly kind person and it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with him. He shared my passion for nature and the Aurora and he puts a lot of care into your stay. This is a place to leave everything behind, get outside and get back to nature. A true arctic experience to be plowing snow from the driveway, collecting firewood and standing in the middle of snowstorms. I can't wait to visit again.

Our stay was wonderful! The description of how to get there and check in was very helpful and all communication and processing went smoothly. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to messages. The apartment has a gorgeous view and the decor is very comfortable.
