Absolutely wonderful hosts who made me feel right at home in my favorite place in the world. Incredibly convenient to all amenities, very well appointed, and delightful company when we saw one another! Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Location was great and very walkable into town. Grocery shopping very nearby. We arrived over the Easter weekend on Good Friday and all of the grocery stores were closed. Our hosts were very nice and sent their son over with food for us… Eggs, meat, wine, butter, bread, milk, and other things! It was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. Their son even bought us some homemade lamb jerky as well! Can’t say enough about their hospitality and willingness to make our stay comfortable during the holiday weekend!

Frequent Airbnb user here. We were able to stay at Bárður’s Airbnb for 3.5 weeks on our second trip to the Faroes and I can confidently say that this is the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Everything about this Airbnb is perfect. The apartment was very clean. The location is amazing/convenient with beautiful harbor views. The apartment is fully stocked with everything we needed for our long stay. The bed is extremely comfortable. The online guide is very helpful. Whenever I had questions during our stay Bárður was always responsive, proactive, and is super friendly. He also reached out several times to check in and ensure our stay was going well. Don’t hesitate to book. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Faroe Islands, and hope that I have the opportunity to return. Thanks again, Bárður!

A thoroughly lovely apartment in quiet surroundings with great furnishings and exquisite views. We stayed there with our 3 adult children and everything worked perfectly and with a quick response when we had a question. We had rented a car and it was a good location to drive out of. Highly recommend.

I recommend this nice apartment centrally located in Thorshavn. It covered nicely we 4 adults' need for a holiday home There was a well-stocked selection of essentials in the kitchen so we could cook ourselves. Parking close by. Great host.

Excellent place to stay in Torshavn! Location was great, parking usually available on the street and if not there is a large car park 2 mins walk away. It's a quieter part of Torshavn but only 7/8 mins walk into the center, couldn't ask for more. The apartment itself was very clean and very modern, looked exactly like the pictures and had all the amenities we need! Would definitely stay again

Great location to start your day in Torshavn. We were challenged to find the unit as the ad did not show the door, just the buildings around the neighborhood. Once inside everything was great. Be aware the locked door relies on your phone using an app. Not our favorite as you lose your phone or it runs out of battery, you would be stuck. Also meant one person always had to be the one to unlock.

This is about a 5-10 minute drive from the different sites of Torshavn, a 20-30 minute walk. Great location on the hill with local access to a grocery store and a couple of delicious take away spots for meals. It was very comfortable, easy to navigate and perfect for a longer stay close to the city.

Very well located and comfortable apartment. And everything very clean. we went with two kids and they were very happy and comfortable. Sunneva greeted us with a wonderful venar and do for her! ( the jam and the beautiful buns). it was a very nice stay and we felt at home!

Very nice apartment, we were very satisfied. The apartment is as in the photos. Very quiet and central location for a vacation. Very flexible and uncomplicated check-in and check-out via the key box. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything you need for meals. Very nice and likeable contact. We definitely recommend the apartment. Best regards from Germany :)

The space was very clean and centrally located. The host was also very responsive and immediately came to help us when we didn’t know how to properly lock the door. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Lovely house in a nice central location. From here you can make all kinds of trips. Petur and Maria are very friendly and helpful host and hostess. It is also very nice that we were allowed to use the washing machine and dryer. The house is also very cozily furnished and in the kitchen everything is provided to cook a meal yourself.

Their apartment is very nice as a home base for travelling in the Faroe Islands! Nicely priced with a nice view and walking distance to the center with the free buses in town. One remark is that one evening we had a drunk visit of the host which was no problem for us, but could have been uncomfortable for a family with children.

Great place to discover the beautiful city of Torshavn and the Faroe Islands. There was everything we needed : curtains everywhere, equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, towels, high chair and foldable baby crib plus toys for the kids ! Joan and her husband were welcoming. There were even sheeps and lambs in front of the house.

The stay at Durita and Fróðis place turned out to be above our expactations. Stunning views, lots of space and superfriendly hosts. Would love to come back another time.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a little disappointing was that some of the amenities that are listed as included actually require an additional fee (laundry/jacuzzi/sauna), and the price, while reasonable, is not listed anywhere prior to check in. Wifi was available, but rather spotty, to the point of being unusable at times, but there is good LTE coverage throughout the space. All in all, our first time in the Faroes was great- Paulina & Boguslaw are great hosts who are willing to quickly help out with any issues that might pop up. I highly recommend staying in one of their rooms if they are available!
